Which is the better Football program?

So, I'm having an argument with KazDog today about which is the better football program. Kaz claims since OU has lost their last 2 bowl games and Fresno has won their last 2, that Fresno is now a better program. I claim since Oklahoma has the highest winning percentage in the 2000's, has 7 national title, 5 conference titles since 2000 alone and around 40+ altogether that Oklahoma is the better program. BTW Fresno hasn't won a conference championship this decade playing in the mighty WAC. Am I missing something

Well they both suck, but they are two programs headed in different directions. Oklahoma normally is listed in the top 5 recruiting classes has started to slip out of the top 10, and Fresno normally ranked in the 80+ for recruiting classes has moved up to last year being ranked in the top 60.

So I say there is a shift in talent away from Oklahoma due to its poor on field and coaching performance. I would say in the next 5 years Oklahoma's program will decline to the likes of Notre Dame and Louisville, and Fresno will be on the rise.
