Cubs Aquire Rich Harden ...

If....and obviously that's a big if..but if Harden stays healthy, we just got the steal of the year.

I have no problem saying that.


Now Patterson and Murton could be decent big league players....but to get a guy the calliber of Harden and a young kid like Gaudin for what we gave up is laughable.

Seriously, when i heard about the trade I thought I was going to see Johnson's name in there ... Glad we did not see him go .. i would like to see him get my playing time ... Patterson was awful in the field .. horrible ...

lol....i thought that was sarcasim in your earlier post about his defense.

Patterson is a second baseman anyway, they threw him in the outfield to get him some major league at bats.

Why doesn't Oakland ever keep players and go for a title. They are not that far out right now. I would be depressed every year watching them. Yes, they make great trades but what ever comes of it???
