You guys are missing my point.

Tiger is the greatest of all time. I am a fan of his! I have argued with my friends that he is the greatest ATHLETE of all time. The guys who say golf is not an ahletic sport are stupid. There are all kinds of skills and strength's involved.

My major point is he incessan media coverage on a routine injury tha many guys go thru.

Case in point, this mornings paper (AP) reads: " With unbearable pain and three unforgettable shots, yadayadayada........

How does this writer know it was UNBEARABLE??? I think if it was that bad, he would have pulled out, like he did he week before at Muirfield. Maybe he has been taking painkillers?

Get a grip media. Do I think Tiger acts a bit, yes, and I have heard this from some friends I have on the tour, not just my opinion. Tiger will put this one away today, but lets not act like he is going thru what Casey Martin (Tigers teamate at Stanford) or Ben Hogan had to deal with regarding pain and play. Golf injuries are common and many injured golfers have won before. The media will try and make his into one of the greaest acheivements in the history of sports.

I really think you are the one here missing the "Point". If it wasn't a Major, he A) Wouldn't even be playing and B) Probably would have withdrawn yesterday.

After seeing him yesterday, a big part of me would love to take the +144 because the knee seems to get worse each day ... BUT ...... He IS Tiger Woods!

Tiger's looking like Fred Sanford! "It's the Big One Elisabeth!"

I think the knee is the equilizer. I give him a shot. Westwood matched Woods today...wasn't pretty but he matched him.

                                Celebration

Tiger and Stevie Williams need to work on the celebratory high five...not the first time they look really awkward doing it. And nothing looked dumber that when he chipped in at Augusta a couple of years ago.....
