  • I like the Stars out of the West and NJ or Pitt out of the East. Crosby back, with Malkin???(not sure how to spell his name) and that team is going to be tough. Plus I love the goalie, tonight's performance not withstanding. Whats his name again?

As for the East....its really a coin flip....NJ, PIT, MTL, OTT, NYR....all have chance IMO...

yea- NYR have NO chance....In the west only 1 long shot- San Jose ~ maybe nashville .... JMO have a good one bud- off to bed !

        • Oh, I didnt realize. Your saying that Sabourin is the better player? I have watched just a few Pens games this year, plus the games against the Rangers (and I disagree with your post by the way LOL) and he has impressed me from what I have seen and they won the large majority of those games. But admittedly it hasnt been a huge body of work.

Conklin has won all the games this year with Fluery injured not Saborin....

Ah, thats what I thought. Didnt really know which team Tash was saying as far as who they cant win with. Yea, then I totally agree. I like Conklin a lot. And Chad, Im glad to see that you included my Rangers in your little list there. This is about the time they started their run last year. Hope their recent 2-0-1 streak is the start of the run this season.

Trade deadline day is on Tuesday...some big deals are gonna be going down...that has been all the talk for weeks on Canadian Sportscentre up here....

Rangers need a defensmen thats where they are very suspect

                    • Why so many starts for Saborin with such a stark contrast in win percentage?

You think? I know they were pretty suspect the other night against your Habs but I think the D has outperformed the O the majority of the nights. They have the offensive players on paper with Jagr, Shanahan, Drury etc but they havent played up to their potential. They should be at least in the top half of league in goals and I havent looked in a few weeks but I am pretty sure they arent close.

                          Great question...ask coach Michel Thierren....

maybe Conklin prefers the lighter workload and performs better that way or something not sure....he will be their main guy in the playoffs though that is FOR SURE

ya I guess I shouldnt really say that as they are 2nd in the East in goals against to NJ but they have only scored two more goals than they have given up....this is mainly due to Lundvuist HIMSELF he is a total stud....they could use another defnsemen though IMO...only really like Staal back there not to big on anyone else....

                            • I just bet the Habs @ 10-1 to win it all. U better be right or I am hunting you down.

J/K It seems seems like a good bet.
                              Good Luck to everyone

Richie: [after Gus hits a homerun] Wow and he did it without steroids.
                              Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!

Wow only 10-1 now...I seen them at 20-1 near the beginning of the season....

I sense Gainey with a big move on trade deadline Tuesday next week....have to wait and see what he is up to...been a ton of talk up here about what he may/might do cause I know he is seeing the potential in the team this year as a Cup contender and would love to better our chances!!!
