well....it is a discussion on sports and of course it gets heated.....also comparing eras and teams is soooooo difficult......so many variables.....the end result is the championship....not the style or manner they got there....
and the reason the dolphins beat the bears that year was the first time they made marino mobile by rolling him out on almost every pass play.....it was the perfect storm....i am sure if they played 10 times the bears win 9.....
either way the pats have not won anything yet......but i think there were better teams on both sides of the ball as MCP alludes to but i do not recall a better complete team....and that includes the 94 niners......but again it is just my opinion

Wow ... I'm not sure what would happen in that matchup. It would be a battle for sure. That team did lose some games and that Ravens offense was horrible so i do think N.E. would beat that team by about 20 ... 23-3Originally posted by tonynicoFantasy matchup would be Pats offense vs Ravens Superbowl Defense.

even the giants scored on them and had 1 called back on a shitty call before the half and the giants were not a good offense that year led by collins,.,,,,
i personally think the bears d was more dominant in their season......but the ravens are a close 2nd

Think about it though, if the Ravens had ANY offense that year, the defense would have looked even better (If that's possible)!Originally posted by TwoTonTonyeven the giants scored on them and had 1 called back on a shitty call before the half and the giants were not a good offense that year led by collins,.,,,,

Oh by NO means do I think the Ravens would have won that fantasy matchup with that horrid offense. But cool to think about that D on the field and the chess match against Pat's offense. I think Brady would be on the turf a few times. D line would have shut down any running game, and LB's would have put a crack or 2 on WR's and taken away the middle.Originally posted by wayne1218Wow ... Exactly. lolOriginally posted by TwoTonTonywell i remember the defense scoring alot of points for them between mcallister and ray lewis
If the offense did something besides 3 and out, the defensive ppg and yards would have been even lower.
