wayne...i agree....although noble, what does his profession have to do with his argument.....i suppose when people are losing and taking the beatdown they will go for the sympathy vote......
Every fucken time Tony. Thank you. He did what he did simply to get the reaction and sympathy from others and it worked for a few. I'm not new at this and when he threw out the terminally ill children card, all bets were off brother. I knew EXACTLY what he was fucken up to.
Tony, This isn't my 1st rodeo here and if he works with terminally ill children, i would be SHOCKED. If he does great, if he doesn't, how bad does that make him look.
So should i (In the middle of the conversation), have jumped in and said MY DAD IS DEAD? What the hell does it have to do with anything? It doesn't and that is why he received my response. Some fail to notice that he brought up the whole job thing and mine, or lack there of, in his opinion.
Well the charity thing must hold some sway b/c you let him know you feed old people and find homes for animals!! How does anyone know!
I didn't read anywhere he wrote that he accepts abuse or drunk driving, and since you asked, I think his charitable response was to you asking if he helped Bengals players detox.
It is very simple. He said Spygate was much worse than the Bengals and their personal problems Tony. Really??? So drunk driving is not worse than a friggin' video camera??? Are you F-ING kidding me???

Tony, I'm not going to continue this with you. I explained why i posted that about 20 minutes ago and if you are going to ignore 1/2 of the conversation than you should quit while you are ahead.

Where did I write that drunk driving isn't worse then a video camera, or if you are asking me that question, I think the answer is obvious.
I didn't see where he said a video camera was worse then abuse and drunk driving, but I will reread now as I can't comment.

Sorry, I am trying to reread and respond at the same time. I didn't see a post on why you let everyone know you take care of old people and find homes for animals. I am going to drop it until the thread goes back to talking about the Pats. Personally I thought your response to his "terminally ill children" comment could have been seen as harsh, regardless of it's validity in the argument about Patriots. I must be out of the loop or not quick enough to read and type!!
the only teams i remember being this dominant has been the Bears.....I know they lost once but that 46 defense was just ridiculous and their personnel was awesome....
however, the Pats are not as good on that side of the ball but equally fearsome on offense....JMHO
But Ditka said that the 46 defense would not work against the Patriots........ this time around All coachs that I have heard talk, say this is the best they have seen. Only Shula feels that his team could of found a way to beat them. And he should feel that way! I feel they are leaps and bounds ahead of todays competition and should be mentioned with the great ones of past years... GB, Pitts, 49ers, Dolphins. What I don't agree on is the constant comments about this being a blemished year because of video-gate. Being a nascar fan as well, I guess I take an unsportsmanlike call (cheating) and put it behind me too fast!

I think the 85 dolphins ran an offense pretty similar to what the pats of today do, and they were the only ones to beat the bears that year.
I have no doubt that the 85 bears would have a tough time stopping the Pats, however.....I think the speed that the bears defense had would have been interesting to see.
This whole thread is ridiculous....who the fuck cares if teams from different eras are better than each other....its something that can not be proven...IT JUST CAN NOT....its a motherfucken opinion.
Are the Pats impressive? Damn right they are but in all honesty I really think the best offense I have ever seen was the 00 Rams that couldnt even win a playoff game.
As far as the best defense goes I think its the Ravens from their Superbowl season....keep in mind I was born in 77 and didnt start paying very close attention until 88 and got hooked in 89 (Barrys rookie season)
As far as the best team of all time goes I think its the 94 Niners
I am not about to start talking about some shit that happened 30 or 40 years ago and try to compare it to today...its just not feasible.
As far as the pissing contest between Wayne and Neil it really doesnt seem all that serious either....just 2 guys who got heated and thats all....no low blows or anything....with it being the holidays and tomorrow is Thanksgiving just let bygones be bygones and move on
The 2 Best Defenses i've ever seen were the '85 Bears and the Ravens team that Won the SB. I can't decide which was better.
As far as offense goes, i was 9 when the Steelers beat the Rams in 79-80 and i've been watching ever since. That was the 1st SB i remember watching. I've seen the Bradshaw offense, the Montana offense, the Marino offense, the Fouts offense, the Aikman offense, the Warner offense and the Young offense all a ton when they were around. I feel the 07' Patriots offense is better than all of them. I know people will call my opinion one that's biased but just look at the numbers and watch their games. I've never seen a NFL team score 42 or 35 in halves or have 56 after basically 3 qtrs. Some of those other offenses were GREAT but none made it look this easy (IMO). My 2nd favorite offense would be the Montana led 'Niners!
