  • LSU may still get in even if They lose in the SEC championship game.

Oklahoma still got in a few years ago when they lost to K State in the Big 12 Champ game. and SEC is strongest conference
    Good Luck to everyone

Richie: [after Gus hits a homerun] Wow and he did it without steroids.
    Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!

No one will get in the National Championship if they lose this late, IMO. Unfortunately, it is not based on merit, but when was the last time you lost. You drop down to the bottom of the ladder and you have to step back up.

So let's say LSU loses and/or the eventual Big 12 champion finishes the season with two losses. And then let's say West Virginia, Ohio State and Arizona State all win out. What would be the pecking order of the three?
        1) Arizona State. - With wins over USC and Arizona, who now has plenty of cachet after the win over Oregon, ASU would likely get the benefit of the doubt by the voters and would be moved up in the human polls and sent to New Orleans.
        2) West Virginia - The big win just isn't there. Style points area must over the final few weeks.
        3) Ohio State - Beating Michigan just isn't going to carry the weight it would've had the Wolverines beaten Wisconsin. The voters will likely continue to punish the Buckeyes for the home loss to Illinois.

This is just one man's view from Collegefootballnews.com. I like his view better than yours
The voters will go with a OSU team over ASU just based on past history. ASU hasn't earned the long time respect yet to jump those teams.

I do agree with the respect comment and I agree with it. Unfortunately, it could come down to that.

Big Ten is the weakest conference of the three---WVU has been rolling---If ASU beats USC and Zona---WVU wins out I say WVU---ASU---OSU---if ASU can beat these teams I say they leap frog OSU--again my thinking is weak big ten conference--Ohio State beat Michigan---Mich had a nice run in the conference---they really did---they beat Illinois on the road but couldn't show up today--I am thinking the Big ten is not getting any respect right now at all---

Even with a weak Big ten this year---very weak--you may be right--what if ASU socks both of these teams---then what--OSU lost at home to the ILLINI---who lost at home to MICH---who lost at home to APPY ST--we could go round and round and it really doesn't matter does it???

IMO. Between the three, I think it should be WVU, ASU, OSU.

Ohio St should have dropped below ASU in the polls last week. They lose at home to Illinois and ASU beat UCLA on the road and ASU drops to accomedate OSU. Fuck them. The big 1o sucks. I will give WVU their props. I would not like to see ASU play them. I think they would have a hard time vs. them.

You could do that with every team though. ASU lost to Oregon who lost to Cal who lost to UCLA and UCLA couldn't even beat N.D. at home.
