The Celts are back! make no mistake about it. What looks good on paper is being carried out on the court. The Chemistry seems to be there although it is still a young season. Rivers can handle them I believe. The story is can they maintain an injury free season and propell themselves full throttle against the Spurs or another upstart team. ( I still like the Magic to make more noise!)
"The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice.
to me the people questioning the chemistry was laughable.
you have 3 superstars who had never won and WANTED to win.
People assumed 3 of the most unselfish players in the league were suddenly going to become selfish. I never got it either. With some players i would agree but these 3 guys have always been great citizens and excellent team guys. I never worried about chemistry. Injuries yes, those worry me. Chemistry ... NO!
The thing I questioned, and still question, is the fatigue after an 82-game haul, with such a limited bench. The Big 3 are doing 39 MPG each and up, and will wear down by crunch time, or the playoffs. It helps that they play in the East. Dallas is currently in 4th in the NBA SW, at 5-2 ( .714).
I must admit they have exceeded expectations to this point, but with 7 of 82 regular season games under their belt, I don't think there are any awards being passed out just yet.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.
No sense in trying to apply logic to any Boston fan these days...Boston sports teams and their fans are enjoying a very nice high from all the success they are having this year...hell even the MLS soccer team is vying for a championship in a week or so...Live for the moment and enjoy it while it lasts.
