Well, for its worth, I have been a diehard since 1952 and I would take him in an instant.
If it meant not having Lowell, it wouldn't be as sweet, but just about by all measureable standards, he is the best or at worst top 3 players in the game today.

Nomar didn't do particularly well in post season either, and yet I regard him as one of the best players to play for Sox during his stay here.
