Every fuckin time I parlay two favorites, I almost always get one of two right (specifiaclly in bases this seems to happen) so I just narrow down which one of the two I like best and just play them....

Atlanta is (0-8) in Hudson's last 8 Inter-League starts and Minny is (12-2) in their last 14 Inter-League home games. The Braves are also (1-4) in their last 5 against lefties while the Twins are (12-3) in their last 15 Inter-League games when a righty is starting. I think Johan & the Twins ... bring it tonight!

That's funny cuz EVERYTIME i lay over -150 i lose, and bend over, and lubricate for all that juice i lost. A parlay is juice free and better than even money when you win. I'm willing to take my chances!

I don't mind losing a parlay for $100 and knowing I dropped an even buck. I get SO PISSED off if i put 100 or 200 straight on a -160 and lose 160 or 320. I can make that parlay up with any other wins but i'm way behind the 8 ball when a loss puts me basically one and a half wagers in the hole. You then have to win two just to be up a half unit. It's tough to stay ahead that way unless you are winning them all. I also can't seperate two teams i love and pick just one. You know why ... because i will pick the one that loses 5 out of 10 times and at that price, i'll also be in the hole. I like to hook them up and get a + payout. If they go (1-1) i lose but guess what, going (1-1) playing them straight i'm still down almost as much and (0-2) straight would be a disaster.

It's my thinking and my thinking only but baseball is the ONE sport where i believe parlays are a must in place of laying juice. In a 6 month season, the juice will break you. (JMO).

For anyone i may have confused, look at it this way. If i liked the Yankees -160 and the Red Sox who were also -160, this is why i believe putting them in a parlay is the smarter move over betting both straight. Obviously if you only like one team this means nothing but if you do see two big favorites, don't leave one out just for the sake of choosing one over another.

                          Based on $100 wagers

If your two teams went (2-0)
                          ------------------------------------------
                          NYY/Boston Parlay = + $165
                          Both straight = + $200

                          If your teams went (1-1)
                          ------------------------------------------
                          NYY/Boston Parlay = - $100
                          Both straight = - $60

If your two teams went (0-2)
                          ------------------------------------------
                          NYY/Boston Parlay = - $100
                          Both straight = - $320

The fluxation amounts on the parlay don't change much and no scenario can really burn you. On the other hand with the straight wagers, it is all over the place. Not a hell of alot more cash can be made by playing them straight but a whole lot more can be lost.

Now I like it better. Did not see this at all. Just from the last couple of times he pitches, he was real bad. He was like -300 against the Nats and they beat him. That was what I was afraid of. Bu then again, Hudson has been bad too.

                            GL to you brother.

I was just about to say that Hudson hasn't been great lately either. Also, about the Nationals ... They seem to be beating everyone lately and burning alot of people. Santana was one of those victims. He should be focused knowing Hudson is on the other side tonight and i find it hard to believe his record will sink below .500. He usually starts heating up as the season goes on and tonight would be a good time to start!
