I thought it might be fun to list some bad things which happen to all of us when we bet on sporting events.
List yours-it can be with a certain team, a general thing or just about anything in any sport.

I had to correct my original post;some day I will learn to proofread before posting.

When I read a post like this, it brings back memories of the Big Red Machine of the mid 70's.
I had a friend, who was not a big gambler.
However, he noticed during the run of the Reds(it was either 1975 or 1976-can't recall which) that Reds ,which were a great team ,seemed to practically always win on Saturdays.
To make a long story short, once my friend uncovered the trend, he called me every Saturday to put a bet in for him on the Reds(no internet back then).
He started at $50, and as Reds continued to win just about every Saturday, he increased ths sizes of the bets to $100, $200 and sometimes $400.
He won betwee 4K and 5k in a relatively short period of time by betting the REDS on Saturday no absolutely no other bets on any other teams or on any other days.

san francisco giants games i hit about 10 percent of time .when im with them they lose adwhen im against them they win. Once i tried to trick myself and bet the opposite way.....and lost lol i dont like giants games.

I must admit that on some occasions when Phil starts, I don't put down the phone, shave, pee, brush my teeth, put out the trash, grab a bite to eat, etc. and come back just in time to get the first comp. and then do something else until he gives the other comp. on the other extension-I simply listen and tune him out;I don't have to time it though, as my phone does that thankless task;that is how I know the actual length of time involved each day.

TTT u got it exactly and especially now u can look back and reflect since u havent been bettin...that is same pattern i have noticed when i bet everyday and i have friends that bet everyday and big and i think some them would agree 100%....fridays dont offer many ncaa hoops and ncaa foots keep increasin weekday games but they always small schools and hard to cap, dont know what way to put it but fri almost forced days to bet...tues, wed, sat always have big ncaa hoop cards and i think easier to cap and of course ncaa foots easier on sat than nfl on sunday atleast for me...

everytime i go to atlanta,ga. to visit my daughter i lose my rump, when i call my plays in, so now i just don't play that weekend i'm there. i just enjoy the visit.

Don't every bet on Friday night Ivy league....I used to always do it when I clearly should have waited for the big card with the bigger better games all day Saturday....
