Wow, an 0-9 run in 3 days (most losses were 2 or 3 bets on totals on the same game, but still)...In terms of most losses of bets in a row, this is my worst losing streak since I started betting online in 1996...Have lost a LOT more units before, even in 1 day, as I did have one $1000 bet last year on my defunct forum and lost that for about 10.5 units gone in one day, which is what I lost here the last 3 days total...

Still up about 15 units posted in NBA, 8 in NHL and 2 in the NFL bets I posted last Sunday, so I am up about 25 units the last 7 weeks despite this 3-day bad run...My bad streaks generally last 4 days and I'll have about one of these a month, and this is my second bad run this season, so I am on about the right pace...Still sucks, but I am glad I pulled back the units on most of these bets and the minute I feel ready to "break out", the units will rise slightly...

I did bet an NFL teaser in hopes of garnering another 3 units as I took:

NE +2, Balt +1.5, TB +26.5 and Indy +10 ($700 to win $500, and ties do NOT lose)...

If the first 3 win on Sunday, I will hedge with Cincy -7.5 (currently +485) and bet $200 on that to guarantee myself a 3-unit win either way, also allowing myself a 2-point window to win both bets and if Cincy wins by 10, I push the teaser, but win almost 10 units on the hedge...

Now, if only I can win the first 3 on Sinday or else I'll be losing another 7 units this weekend)...

On to an NBA play...

Golden State Warriors -2 -- $275 to win $250 --- (or GS -2 hcp @1.909, 2.5/10, Pinnacle)

No Chris Bosh or Fred Jones for Toronto, and according to two GS newspapers, Jason Richardson and Ike Diogu have an outside shot at returning on Sunday...This was in the San Jose Mercury News and the Oakland Tribune:

"The return of guard Jason Richardson and forward Ike Diogu, both of whom are hoping to play Sunday at Toronto."

Doesn't mean they will play, but this would be a nice bonus...Even if they don't play, I like the Warriors...

Why?...

Sure Toronto is 6-3 SU at Home and GS is 1-7 SU on the Road, but GS has played at DAL, UTAH, SA, DEN, HOU, PHOE, SEA and NO (and NO was undefeaed at the time)...CLE (a horrible Road team) and IND are the only teams with winning records that TOR has beaten at Home, and they had Bosh for both of those games...GS has yet to play an Eastern Conference team on the Road and well, hey, therein lies the reason for their 1-7 Road record...In fact, GS has only played 4 teams from the East all season, and some of the better ones, DET, IND, MILW and TOR...

I never like laying chalk on the Road with a .500 team, but GS showed some heart in their last game at PHOE, erasing a huge deficit and making that a game...Toronto may be in a bit of let-down spot off a nice win vs. NJ at Home last time out, but NJ was without Richard Jefferson...The Raptors have not won 3 in a row all season...I see enough evidence here to make the Warriors a play (and I will add the Under for tracking purposes)...
