    Let me ask you Michigan people this, if Michigan were to beat Ohio State in a close game, why would they been any more deserving of a national championship than Ohio State? They would both have a loss, and they would have both lost to each other. It doesn't make any sense.
    It makes lots of sense. Michigan and Ohio St are the two best teams. In the NFL there's often rematches in the playoffs.

      Why shouldnt it matter???? Thats one of the deciding factors over who gets placed where in the BCS.. Remind me Did Michigan win their conference??? And what about Florida did they win theirs?? NUFF SAID... Michigan had their chance to beat Ohio State and they got lucky to only lose by 3 points.. OSU turns the ball over 3 times and if it wasnt for that then their asses would have gotten blown out of the water.. Did u not see the comparision between the 2 schedules during the Florida/Arkansas game?? It was something like Florida-7 Michigan-3 and hell they even gave Michigan the advantage when they both had a off week lol..

        Good Point!

        It happens in CBB, NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL ... And every other sport but it is absolutely wrong if it happens in CFB according to most ......... What a joke!

          Whats going to happen IF Michigan beats OSU.. Will OSU fans say hey we need another game we beat you the first time.. Michigan had their chance they should have gotten blown out of the water now it should be another teams chance.. IMHO the way Florida played last night with that fast ass defense on a neutral field Florida would beat Michigan..

            Because when you are both top 5 in SOS you can then compare the loss.

            Advantage = MICHIGAN

                Michigan plays in the weak Big 10. They beat 1 real good team in Wisconsin. Notre Dame is overrated. Florida beat LSU, Arkansas and Tennessee. Why shouldn't the schedule be the diffrence. Isn't the BCS partly based on schedule? Florida beats Michigan str8 up.

                  Who says you HAVE to Win your conference tmac. Please point that out to me. Many teams in EVERY Sport win titles w/out winning a division or in college, a conference title. That's just a totally stupid argument. Notre Dame will NEVER Win a conference Title, does that eliminate them every year? NO!

                    I agree with this 100%.. But once again the SEC will get screwed and they will give it to Michigan and leave Florida out.. Michigan will get blown the hell out just like in 2004 when USC trashed Oklahoma who had no business what so ever being their in the 1st place..

                      PLEASE ... SEC isn't what you all want to believe it is .........

                      I'm not a big fan of the strength of schedule argument for Florida. I think it is a weak argument. BOTH teams are top 5 in SOS and let's face it, the SEC power house teams that UF pumps their chest over, had a DOWN year and were not that impressive.

                      I hear "We beat Georgia, Alabama, LSU, South Carolina, Tenn & Florida St." Well ... Those teams have a great "History" but you can't deny that ... Georgia didn't have a great year and they lost consecutive home games by 18 and to Vandy while beating a poor Colorado team by 1 at home late ... Alabama? C'mon, they are a (6-6) team that finished the season losing 3 straight, including a HOME loss to pitiful Miss St. They are nothing special ... LSU? Great Win ... South Carolina? Another team that was just (7-5) and had the Gators on the ropes late in Gainseville and should have won ... Tenn.? They were a solid team but they lost every game they played against a Top Conference opponent ... Florida St? Let's face it, Florida didn't look good in winning a tight game against a very average FSU squad.

                      Florida is a great team but style points are all we have to go on sometimes and they won some ugly games!

                      Yes, they won them but so did the Wolverines!

                        I think a team that wins their conference title and clearly has a tougher schedule deserves to play in the national title game over a team that plays a weak ass schedule beats a good Wisconsin team and beats a over rated Notre Dame team and gets lucky to have even been in the game against Ohio State.. Thats just my opinion..

                            According to the SOS TMAC, nothing was clear with SOS when your 1st & 4th. That argument holds zero weight so find a new one!

                              Tell me this, where tha' fuck were you last week when EVERYONE was arguing USC/Michigan???? Your mouth was nowhere to be found when it came to a Florida argument. EVERYONE except Florida fan AGREED it was USC and Michigan. It's funny how you can flip on a dime ..... but then again, i'm used to that!

                                The big difference in the NFL with this little thing called PLAYOFFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No beef at all with those two playing again if there were playoffs.
