JBC- When the fight you keep referring to took place between Clemson and SC they both took themselves out of bowl consideration which probably cost the schools a million dollars each....Now I wonder if Miami will do the same or not??? They probably will not and just play themselves out of the bowl picture.....

You never really saw much of this back in the 60's or even 70's. I mean there were isolated bad boys, but nothing like this.
Something has happened within the past 20-30 years.
The first time I remember seeing this mentality was the 1986 Miami Hurricanes getting off the plane in army fatigues talking smack about how they were gonna whip Penn State's ass in the Orange Bowl. I never pulled so hard against a team in my life. I remember thinking how can a coach allow this to happen. It was like the inmates were running the asylum.
It seems that it has gone down hill from there.Comment
