I am awful at this but I think -170 is fair.

I think it might be higher only because of public perception and the historical success of the two teams.

I love the play of the Mets not going to the world series and either the Padres, Phillies, or Dodgers making it there... don't think the Mets staff or the weak Cardinals who might limp in will make it out of the first round...

What do you think line will be if Yanks and Detroit meet and Yanks have home field advantage. I think it will be at least
-170 and maybe even higher-could be -200 or more.

These WS odds indicate line might be even higher than -210 if Yanks meet Detroit in a series. Now I am thinking -260 or maybe even higher.

Dirk, how can you say RJ and Mussina are old but then bank on Glavine and El Duque? El Duque must be pushing 50!

Glavine & El Duque aren't power pitchers and Rj is, Mussina well he has a varitey of pitches but has been inconsistent in the postseason especially since 2001. To me he gets a pass every year for some reason. Rj in the postseason in 02 and last year nothing great either. I know Glavine isn't exaxtly an automatic in the playoffs but he's been given little run support with the braves. Also Mets face weaker teams than the Yanks.
