Lets argue:Who will win the BCS championship

The SEC does much better in my opinion.

1. Texas - would likely lose to Auburn
2. OU - would likely beat Florida
3. Nebraska - would likely lose to LSU
4. TT - would likely lose to Tennessee
5. Iowa St. - would likely lose to Arkansas
6. Colorado - would likely lose to Georgia
7. Texas A&M - would likely lose to South Carolina

There are essentially now five BCS games. The fifth game is simply called the BCS National Championship Game, which is to be played this season on January 8th in Arizona. This is not a playoff and a team can only play in the post-season one time. The title for the new system is termed the Double Hosting Model, which is not to be confused with the plus one model.

This new system was put in place to give the mid-major conferences a better chance of sending their champion to a BCS bowl. If a team from one of the non-BCS leagues finishes ranked in the top 12 of the BCS rankings or in the top 16 and higher than a BCS conference champion then they are guaranteed a spot in one of the BCS bowls.

Ohio State's one loss. @ Iowa. Only one team goes undefeated this year. USC.

USC has to beat ND and a good California team, back to back to go undefeated....USC returns just 4 on Offense, and 6 on Defense....Plus they have a new Punter, Kicker, Kick returner, Punt returner.........

They do have a softer schedule........QB Booty is awfully good, and Sanchez were both Prep All Americans.....Booty a Jr is coming off of back surgery......Sanchez is a freshman.........

Despite their softer schedule, mistakes by young QB's can cause you a game.........I don't think they go undefeated.......

We'el see what they have when they open up with a mediocre SEC team Arkansas.........

Florida:

Talented,great coach but kapt have you seen their schedule?? their schedule is IMO the toughest in the nation bar none!!! gators lose 2 or 3 games this year guaranteed. No national title.

Clemson:

R U serious? when clemson wins their division please contact me. Then even if by chance they win their division they have a conf title game. No way clemson goes undefeated. 2 loses guaranteed for clemson. No national title.

Man there are alot of people saying Nebraska is "Dark Horse" this year. Do people not understand that the Big 12 sucks. Texas last year was a good team with one SPECTACULAR player. Before that those Oklahoma teams that made the National Championship every year sucked. Nebraska is going to lose 3-4 games this year and end up in the Alamo bowl or something. I saw them at the end of last year. Cory Ross is a good running back but Zac Taylor is God awful. They are just another Big 12 team that scheduled almost nothing but cupcakes out of conference. Grant it they did schedule USC. The rest of their out of conference schedule is Nicholls St. La Tech, and Troy.

They will lose to USC, Texas, and 2 of the following games -@KSU, @ A&M, @OSU, vs. Colrado or vs. Missouri. Dont think I forgot Nebraska last year. Bowl game vs Michigan was possibly the luckiest game for any team I have ever seen. I also remember when they lost like 40-10 to Kansas. Zac Taylor will blow up in Nebraskas face and they will go either 9-3, or 8-4. Fuck the Big 12. Real Football is played in the ACC, SEC and Big 10. and USC

Can i ask you a question? maybe you already listed it. but i want your top 6 to 8 teams that have a legit shot to win the BCS title games. no iffy teams allowed. i listed mine. i would like to see yours. Not to rip on you, i want your perspective. i appreciate your input and want to see who you got. that way if any very i can look into things alittle further. thanks

Clemson IMO season will be decided by mid Sept. They play @BC then the following week they play @ Fl st. if they win both games they IMO have a shot at the national title. if they lose either game they are done. No shot.

Fuck the Big 12? Since '93, here's the breakdown of conferences who have played for a national title:

Big 12: 9 times (winning 5)
SEC: 6 times (winning 3, 4 if you count LSU in '03)
ACC: 8 times (winning 2)
Big 10: 1 times (2 if you count 'Michigan in '97)
USC: 2 times (winning 1)

Looks to me like the Big 12 is on top. Better re-check your reasoning for saying "real football is played in the ACC, SEC and Big 10." More times played for championships & most won.

Maybe I'm biased. The biggest bet I have made in my life was Louisville +10 at Miami a couple years ago, and they totally dominated that game at the Orange Bowl, losing on a bizarre sequence of events near the end (I don't remember exactly, but they had a 17 point lead and lost by 3 - Petrino did something stupid). This year's Louisville team is far better, and Miami's team is nowhere near as good.

And it's not crazy to say any Louisville home game will be an easy victory. They averaged winning their home games by over 39 ppg last season.

Lefors got a concussion(qb) and Brohm a true freshman step in and led us on a scoring drive. Then late Miami was driving and we had an interception right in our hands and the DB dropped it, if he hadnt there was only 1.30 left, cards take 3 knees and win. He dropped it, hit him right in the bread basket, Thursday night game, i have never been so angry on a loss. We beat those fuckers at home, but we didnt on the score board

They won't lost at home to Nebraska. Their toughest games are home vs. Cal and on the road vs. UCLA.
