Don't even give me that Big 12 schedules are weaker than other conferences...Here's some of your so-called real football non-conference schedules:
Florida St. plays Troy, Rice, Western Michigan & Florida
Auburn plays Wash St., Buffalo, Tulane & Arkansas St.
LSU plays Lou-Lafayette, Arizona, Tulane & Fresno St.
Clemson plays Florida Atlantic, La Tech, Temple & S. Carolina
Florida plays S. Miss, Central Fla., W. Carolina & Fla St.
Ohio St. plays No. Illinois, Texas, Cincinnati & Bowing Green
Michigan plays Vanderbilt, C. Michigan, N. Dame & Ball St.
Well, to their cedit, they play in very tough conferences. ND recently turned down an offer to play a series with LSU. The reasoning behind it? To win a national title. Unless the ncaa adopts a playoff this shit will go on and on ...........

Yea well for one reason that is just some teams outside the Big 12 not EVERY team. Every team in the Big 12 does it. Also, the reason why these teams need it....they dont get Baylor, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa State and Oklahoma State all written into their schedule. Not even a Big 12 coach would argue they dont have easy schedules come on FUCK THAT. Also these arent even that bad, Florida, Arizona, South Carolina, FSU, BGSU, Texas, UND. All of these teams are better than anyone on Oklahoma's, or Nebraska's outside of USC.
2006, I believe...What's your point? You're saying the Big 12 is weak and I've clearly showed you that your are wrong. Plain and simple.
All you do is provide me your unsubstantiated opinion and your anti-Big 12 rhetoric. I've provided facts.
You've provided facts about the Big 12 over the last 13 years. 5 years ago doesnt mean shit in College. Look at this year. Not one team in the Big 12 qould even finish in the top 2 of the SEC or Big 12.

I agree that teams schedule some weak opponents...But they all do. I was just pointing out that every team in every big conference schedules one big game and the rest patsies. I won't give them credit for playing in a tough conference, that goes with all BCS conferences...except the Big East & Pac-10.

Gonna have to challenge that last sentence. Oklahoma plays at Autzen Stadium, which is tougher than any game on the above schedules except @ Texas.
Iowa State is a very good team, and would finish in the top half of any conference in the nation.
The bottom four in the SEC (Miss, Miss St., Vandy, Kentucky) is miles worse than the bottom four in the Big 12 (Baylor, OSU, Kansas St., Missouri).

And you're basing this on what? I'm guessing you meant to say Big 10...and that's a joke. Outside of Ohio St., there's nothing in that conference doing anything this year. And don't say Iowa or Michigan, they both choke every year. The SEC is good, but it ain't that much better than the Big 12.
Big East slightly higher than BIg 12 because they have 2 legitimate title contenders. Grant it that is all they have but the Big 12 is not known for its depth either.

Sorry I didn't want to list every team's non-conference schedule, but they're all the same. One big-time opponent, a couple of middle-of-the-roaders, and a cupcake.
By the way, I'll take Baylor, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa St. & Okla St. over Vanderbilt, Miss. St, Miss., Kentucky & Arkansas any day.

Iowa's the best team in the Big 10.

Big 10 is what i meant. Fuck. Anyway.....The Big 10 has OSU, Michigan, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Penn State
OSU, MICH, MICH ST. IOWA, PSU.I will take any of them on a nuetral field with any team in the Big 12. Or by depth we could do it like this.
Ohio State vs. Texas ........ Close we'll find out.
Michigan vs. Oklahoma ....... Michigan wins but, could be close.
Iowa vs. Nebraska .......... I'll take Iowa anyday
PSU vs. Texas Tech ......... Penn State in a blowout
MSU vs. Missouri ......... Michigan State dominates.
Minnesota vs. Oklahoma ST ..........HAHAHAHA!!!
Wisconsin vs. Kansas St ...........Do I even have to say it.

I can do the same for the SEC if u want.
Wow...I'm done with this for now. I love debating college fooball, but I can't accept that the Big 10 is better than the Big 12...never, never, never.
Franchise, you're ranking the Big 12 teams wrong. It should be more like this:
1. Texas - would likely lose to Ohio St. on neutral field (at home, should be close)
2. OU - would likely beat Michigan or lose to Iowa
3. Nebraska - would likely beat Michigan or lose to Iowa
4. TT - would be about a TD favorite and would likely beat Penn St. - surprised you feel PSU would win this game, especially in a blowout
5. Iowa St. - would be close to pk against MSU, game could go either way
6. Colorado - would be a slight favorite against Minnesota, game could go either way
7. Texas A&M - would likely lose to Wisconsin
