If OU has to start over again at the quarterback position, they could be in trouble early next year. I just put a small chunk of change down on under 10.5 wins (-147).
        They'll still finish 11-1 if not 12-0.........
        Look at their schedule........
        UAB
        Wash
        Oregon
        Midd Tenn
        Texas
        Iowa St
        Colo
        Mzo
        Tx Tch
        Baylor
        Ok St...........

Ok returns 7 from a defense that was ranked this way last year
        Scoring......ppg.......#37
        Rushing......ypg.......#4
        Passing......ypg.......#56
        Total.........ypg.......#13

They only avgd. 177 ypg last year passing........#94

Loss of this QB is gonna be leadership only, not talent........Though he was getting progressively better.....

Look for Soph. QB Joey Halzle to step up and progressively get better as season rolls on.......He'll have 4 games under his belt before he'el be really tested..........

Also don't forget that Thompson is a QB converted to receiver.....He's also a Sr........Leader on Squad.......

Great coaching staff......will make needed adjustments, and go 11-1 or 12-0 and meet ND for Championship......

        Defense is awesome.........IMO----kapt

Receivers who can really help him are, Kelly, Thompson---also QB, Iglesias, as well as Peterson coming out of the backfield.......

I think Oregon and T.T. will both beat Oklahoma and maybe even Texas too!

The officials will not let T.T. beat them after what happened last year. Paybacks a bitch

Peterson will be hurt by then and there is NO WAY the sooners can score enough to win that game!

I don't think Peterson will be hurt. I know they have an unproven o-line, but the coaches really seem to like the guys they have. Halzle is a juco all american who has some talent, if the coaches can get him to be a better decision maker he might turn out to be a decent player. Plus, with the defense being as strong as it is, T.T. may not score 50 like you think. I don't think this hurts as much as I lead it on to be.

No QB and no RB means one hell of a INEPT offense!

Why do they have no RB all the sudden??

Plus, Bomar was decent nonetheless improving, but it's not like he was Brady Quinn or anything.

Just basing this on trends and history. Without a legit QB, they will "TEE-OFF" on Peterson and he will come up "LAME" once again. How will he get past 8 man lines with no QB? He won't!
