Hey you got to be impressed, and as I stated, at this point, experience or no experience in post season, their chances are at least as good as anyone's.
In another thread I said they would win this series;a victory tomorrow would be gravy.
They play Red Sox for three games in Boston in several weeks, and at this point I wouldn't make any predictions either way.
One things for sure-Tigers are sitting pretty-very good talent and chemistry and one of the best(if not the best) managers.
It must be great for all Tigers fans like yourself, Homer, etc. to finally have a winner and bonafide contender.
    Congratulations!

We tigers fans been waiting a long time for a real manager. Not
to say trammel won't be someday, but you have to pay your
dues. Hope the lions and their new coaching staff are as fortunate.

        gl to all,

I cant wait until October when the air outside gets crisp and its us on TV playing when every single pitch is magnified.....man I cant wait.

The 68 tigers were probably my favorite team, but I've lived and died detroit & michigan sports since 63 and have seen some good teams and bad teams in all sports but one thing
for sure detroit no matter what sport will be my team that is
            a constant.

            gl and enjoy the season,

Lets not forget one thing:emotion plays a part in all sports.
Just think of it-The Tigers are coming off a big emotional series with Minn including yesterday's heartbreaking loss.
I don't care how good you are or how good your manager is, teams are going to suffer letdowns especially when they have a huge lead in the standings and have to play on the road the very next day a much lesser team than Minn.
Just remember even a very good team like Detroit is going to lose 55-60 games or so, and the losses have to come from somewhere.
For the record I didn't play this game at all, because while I had a hunch this might happen, it wasn't strong enough to play.

Kenny Rogers is a gas can....what can I say......I said it before that I am worried about his second half collapses and he is one now.

When the season started I was afraid of Maroth and Robertson and I should say this now Robertson might be one of the most underrated starters in the entire AL (heck MLB)

Just gotta hope Rogers turns in a few quality starts and rights his ship....Zach Miner held his own the other day v Liriano

But yeah go ahead and kick us while we are down for tonight....you can have that

                      PEACE

                                yesterday it was Craig Monroe

                                Today it was Pudge

Man we cant seem to lose......enjoy it while it lasts I say because we are due for a rough stretch at some point

5-10 maybe? 7-13.......something of that sorts.....it has to happen.....impossible to play this well for 162 games
