We will see. It works for Utah and A.F. but it won't last in the SEC at Florida ... GUARANTEED!

You would think so at first glance, but no other QB in the SEC had more than 78 carries - and that was Shockley. Third place was 61.
      Records:

      NCAA Hoops (38-34-2, +4.59*)
      NFL Sides (34-25, +12.15*)
      NFL Totals (18-14-1, +8.23*)
      NCAA Foots Plays (65-48-4, +21.47*)
      NBA Plays (4-1-0, +5.92*)

Oh, I completely agree. I think he is making a big mistake recruiting this kind of player.

I'm not talking about just the SEC though. They see an acre in front of them and can run for a mile. That's why the best get filtered into 32 NFL teams and the QB's can no longer run!

There are too many good defenses in the SEC with speed and they will smother the option. If he goes that way recruiting, his time there will be short!

Wayne, I've enjoyed the discussion. The problem is, I'm exhausted, and I want to get up at 8 to watch the final round of the Open. If I don't tell you, good luck tomorrow.

Hey, it's all good. If we can sneak out 40-50 catches with Jackson, it would be great. With those short routes by Brady, he has a chance!

                GL Buddy!

Chad will be a starter this season and come in and help ya instantly!! Once again I say congrats on getting the biggest steal of this past years NFL Draft!!

New England reached agreements Saturday with second-round draft pick Chad Jackson and sixth-round choice Jeremy Mincey, leaving the Patriots with three unsigned draft choices as training camp approaches.

Getting Jackson's deal done before the start of camp was crucial. Considered a potential first-round pick and a likely starter for the Patriots, Jackson was considered a steal with the 36th pick in the draft. The 21-year-old Jackson caught 88 passes last season for Florida and wowed scouts with his times at the Indianapolis combine.

Jackson agreed to a four-year deal. Financial terms were not available.

Jackson is expected to join Deion Branch in the starting lineup at wide receiver, but there is some question about whether Branch will be a holdout.

Mincey, 22, agreed to a three-year deal. He is the first of the Patriots' seven draft choices signings to get a contract that wasn't a four-year deal. Financial terms also were not available.

Mincey, a linebacker, played 24 games for Florida in the past two seasons. He had five sacks and one interception in those games.

Compared to what he ran in Utah, this is much closer to a pro set than he has ever run!

i agree with that but he still does a little of what he did in utah imo....he better change it because that crap doesnt work in the SEC or any major confrence for that matter.
