                            It looks like the Mets better stay in their own division and continue to play the Atlantas, Phillies, Pirates, etc. of the world.
                            I am not impressed especially with what I have seen this week.
                            Compare this Mets team with that of 1986, and it is obvious what a far cry it really is: Obviously they will get better as they have a young team, but I don't see them winning a WS this year.

                                I would LOVE to see what the Mets record would be if they played in the American League.
                                Their outfielders can't even make routine catches.
                                Until proven otherwise, these guys are pretenders and not contenders.
                                ps Well, they have Pitt. tomorrow, and after a few games, I suppose they can write these games off with the Red Sox and Yanks this week as a bad dream(unless they should play them again in post season).
