I say Detroit Verlander is a stud and Jackson could easily have at least 4 more wins, the lack of run support he gets his nuts, and his era is in the mid 2's i believe.Comment

Was just looking at Edwin Jacksons last 10 starts, he should have a much better record than he does. Last 10 satrts has not given up more than 3 er runs in a start, has 5 no decisions and 2 loses and only 3 wins, thats brutal. It seems almost every team has that guy that gets no run supportComment

Maybe i'm looking at it differently than most. I have not looked at any numbers. My decision is based on the naked eye and who i would trust/like heading in to the postseason or for a postseason run in September. I'm just not as sold on the Detroit duo doing it when the pressure is really on i guess.

Jackson more than Verlander is the problem for me. Hey, i love Jackson and i have him on 2 fantasy teams. He has had a great year but i have trouble trusting a guy that has never been counted on before as the #2 guy and in the crunch, his inexperience scares me there.Originally posted by kbsooner21 View PostComment
