              • Not even going to be close. California is a lock for Obama (55 points).

What the fuck is up with the majority of the kids at my college supporting Prop 8. Disgusting. My school is also big time pro Obama. Signs everywhere.

                  • I don't see any surprises tonight. I was wondering if there would be any but Obama is going wire 2 wire as many stated he would.

Like a month ago, I was reading an article that said the media had to pretend like there was a chance McCain would win, even though there was no chance. Obama was gonna crush in Ohio and Pennsylvania, and everybody knew it.

I'm surprised the popular vote is so close 21,900,000 (O) to 21,300,000. I know CA hasn't been counted, but I thought the popular vote would be greater for Obama than it is.

I know, you would think Electorals would be closer. I think the Electoral part is way out dated anyway and IMO it should be the Popular vote that wins it. Either way though i think Obama wins comfortably in the end!

The lead will expand as New York, California and other big states come in, and I still think he will win 3-5 percentage points.

No doubt it will widen as the night goes on. Could be payback for 2000 when Gore won the popular vote but lost the election. Either way, I am glad this is almost over. They are still running Heath Shuler ads, and the polls closed at 7:30.
