The Bloodline and heartbeat of this site has always been guys talking about sports and gambling and that is all people did here for a long time. That has clearly changed and now it is littered heavily with politics everywhere and i really think it has turned many people off and made many others lose focus on what this site was built on ... and it wasn't politics.

I totally disagree. As molta stated above, people do not go to a site based on gambling and sports to talk politics. In fact, i think most are turned off by it (Except the 10 who love it). Guys who come here do NOT want to sift through all the political bs to get to the sports and they shouldn't have to.

all anyone has to do is click on all sports or members picks and none of the politics threads come up. that's what i have always done at any forum i post at. you go to the section you want to see. am i missing something?

And your probably right.Maybe thats why Monte starts a bunch of threads in this section cause thats where the money is at.If thats the case then maybe I need to evaluate why I'm here nd a member of this site.Most of us feel like there are a million political chats out there.WE come to BETTORS chat to talk sports and you guys have seemed to take over.Go to a political site and start a nascar thread and they will tell you to get the fuck out.Yet you guys can come to a SPORTS BETTING site and take over.Husker I aint blaming you cause if your allowed to do it then you should. Just seems crazy to me that we even argue about this shit anyway but it damn sure seems crazy to do it at a sports site.I will be honest.I have not recommended BC to any of my friends in probably 2 years. Alot of good people here but it's changing IMO

vols, Monte closed this forum for awhile and me and joe asked for it to be reopened. Monte really didn't want to because of all the bullshit and we pretty much begged thinking it would bring traffic here. Well, i have since changed my mind on it again because i just didn't think it would dominate the website like it has. If it was 100 people talking, that would be one thing but it isn't. It is the same 10 guys bumping threads 500 times a day fighting the same fight with each other.

For me, it has become very, very, old and i'm kinda sick of it.

I will also say that I've noticed there was much more activity when the members picks and all sports discussion were not separated.

bingo, people don't like to go from ore section to another. i have always felt only very busy sites should have multiple forums. it gives the feeling of no interest in posts and people stop posting.

But you eliminate every other forum when you click on just one. Everybody knows that. People like variety but when it is all the political bs rising to the top, that isn't variety.

there used to be wayyyyyyy more sports chatter in the past.

the days of 10 page in-games EVERY night seem long ago.

this site was the busiest when the service plays were posted, by far.

then there was some things that were exposed about some very popular posters, and that hurt. i am not trying to bring that stuff up again! just giving my thoughts.

like i said before, this is a very slow season for ALL forums.
