I know this opinion is not shared by many, but I honestly think George W Bush acted everyday in office with the greater good of this country and its citizens in mind. Of course this can be debated tooth and nail by many but it's what I believe firmly. Many people want to point to the war in Iraq and say that it is uncalled for. I say that Saddam had more than enough opportunites afforded to him by the Bush administration and NATO to be open about his operations and to prove otherwise that he was not hiding anything. All this at a time in the civilized worlds existance when we were all on edge about where the next attack would come from. CIA intelligence told the Bush Administration repeatadly that Saddam was hiding something. GW Bush acted in the name of safety of the citizens of the United States, Israel, and rest of the civilized world. Had GW Bush not acted and Saddam been hiding these weapons, the result would have been catastrophic and I agree with GW that it was not a risk worth taking. Iraq and the war that goes on there today has not added one dollar to George W Bushs bank account. If it did dont you know we all would know about it because his income is open to all US tax payers. He did what he thought was right IMHO.
