Remember I am then one who originally posed the question to YOU as to what would happen if a family has a third kid(assuming you meant after receving the monetary incentive).
In essence, I think the answer is that government will realize if they try this, what you and I say could happen WILL happen to such an extent that govt. will realize that it is not a viable alternative to actually limiting the number of kids families can.
Perhaps, if things don't work out, the government will impose mandatory sterilization warnings for those who accept the payment and then have the third child anyways or for that matter without monetary incentives.My
My main point again is that again is that I believe some day limitations on children born will be limited, and that one cannot simply say that it won't be done because of words and terms like loss of freedom, constitutionality, etc.
ps My analogies about flying and space travel were simply made to show that simply because one cannot conceive of something happening ever at a given point in time or whatever reason, doesn't mean it cannot in the future.

Instead of killing the 3rd child maybe we should kill both parents for breaking the law.

So you still it is "punishing" future generations if we have an overpopulation probem by limiting them to only 2 kids-yes or no?
I have made my sacrifice by limiting myself to two kids and in a different problem area by driving a hybrid car for the last 6 years.
The point is that everyone has to make a sacrifice to keep population under control.
The difference between you an me is apparently you don't believe there is a population or potential over population problem and that the government or people shouldn't care or be concerned as to how many kids they have.

Re: the future, hopefully space travel and colonizing other planets such as Mars some day will help solve the overpopulation problem, but until /if something like that occurs, I think we must all do our small part-having just two kids is not so really terrible is it especially if you consider the alternative if no controls are put on?
