The problem is a world wide problem, and finding a wife in a foreign country and having a child bringing total number of children to 2 is not at all against my thinking.
If I was just getting married for the first time at any any stage in life, I would limit myself and wife to one child.

Sure there are desolate areas, but are you condsidering such things as the amount of food, doctors, etc. which will or will not be available to feed and take care of multi billions of folks?

I disagree. They won't take that freedom of having children, away. They might give incentives to not have kids, but they won't take it away.

And last time I checked, a hysterectomy is irreversible. And having a vasectomy or the implants or your tubes tied is rather difficult to reverse as well. We're not talking about popping birth control pills here.....

Using your logic than 99% of the 3rd world population would love to move to America. The rest of the world would be desolate while America is overpopulated.

IMO I can say this with 100% certainty. If you didn't have a foreign wife you'd be one of the first ones screaming about someone 'importing' a wife into our country.

So if they did, as you had stated about a family not using birth control. What would the government do if a family has a third kid? Arrest them? Put them in jail? Kill the kid? If she's pregnant, not allow her to have the kid at a hospital so she has it in her backyard and squats it out?

Sorry, quota's make a lot less sense than incentives and just won't happen here.....And God help us if it does.

You last statement is simply not true.
Without getting into a long discussion about the values of American women in a very general sense, knowing what I do now about the overall values of the women in other cultures, I would advise any man who was having trouble finding an American woman whose values were in synch with his own, to at least explore the possibilites of looking for a lady in an other land.
To use what might be deemed a crude analogy, what is wrong with going to Targets if you can't find what you want at Sears?

BW, I've never smoked pot. I've never have even taken a hit.

Should it be legal? No

Should it be decriminalized? YES

I've had the unfortunate privilege of being introduced to our legal and judicial system. I have a close friend that's got into some legal trouble. While our system is probably the best in the world at the same time it's a FUCKING joke! Our jails are revolving doors for drug addicts. We continue to arrest the users while the pushers are allowed to troll our streets.

We have too many people in and out of jail for BS marijuana possession charges. It becomes a snowball effect. There's lots of truth to the cliche 'once you're in the system you can't get out'. I've met too many people that it started with some minor BS charge and continued to escalate.

I am sure way back when no one could conceive of the idea that people could fly some day or that would be such a things as tv's and flying to moon and mars.
Granted we are talking about ideas and concepts here, but the basic concept holds.
I believe that society including ours will some day have to adapt to changes because the circumstances dictate it.
I see overpopulation as a big problem now and one which will have to be solved some day(hopefully as some say by nuclear war).
How this effected is anyone's guess-mine is that it will come down to limiting the number of children a family can have-if something else works better such as Kazdog suggest, than fine-I am all for it-i don't think that will be the case however.
