I accept your apolgy. I don't like being accused of something I am not, nor lumped in with vile. If you recall, I was the FIRST and ONLY person to post that I thought Jordanrules was way out of line with his post about you and "waking up black".
The reason the posts have to do with President Obama is b/c he is, right now, the most famous and powerful African-American, mixed, whatever, person in the world. So he is being used as an example as the offspring of a bi-racial couple and trying to open the doors of communication. Does it tie into affirmatice action? Yes. Does it tie into other areas? Yes. But I never put a judgment on any of it.

Thanks you did post something about that and the reason I didnt respond to that is that it is the direct opposite, I enjoy the fact God created me being a minority. Anyone who would hide behind a computer making a comment like that is what he is and instead of making stupid threats Ill let God handle him.

As far as The down south thing they were the original ones really interested if someone had a drop of black blood in them and if they found out you were cast aside immediately.

I'm disappointed that the 2 African-American posters (I assume from reading their posts) either insult or call me racist (my boys down South) because I ask a legitimate question on race. If your replies are indicative of other "black" responses, I can see why race relations are where they are. Sad.

Actually you mentioned you were 75% Italian, but qualify if you are even 1/22 African-American, so who knows what you and your "shawty" are. Why are my questions stupid? We've already said that its all relative but you keep asking the same thing. Stop being so lazy and look it up yourself. Be self productive, and stop relying on others to feed you the info. Sicilian to be exact. there's a lot of us down here in the magic city. Back in the 1920's a lot of Italians worked in the steel mills down here. During the Civil Rights movement they were beaten too, crosses were burned in in my grandfathers yard. They hated: blacks, catholics, jews, and Italians. I'm not saying we had it as bad as the blacks, but Italians had it rough. We lived in the same part of town. It's still that way down here to an extent. My father was a very succesful business man in the grocery business, and wanted to join Birmingham Country Club-he didn't get in because he's not a wasp..
