Pastor marries him, baptizes children, and obama never knew any of this? obama lied when he initially said he never heard anything, then changed his story when he made his lame speech. First of all I understand what Pastor Wright was saying. I do not agree with everything he was preaching but it is hard to get a feel on a 20 second sound byte. The Clintons are smart, they are doing what any good politician is doing. ala Karl Rove... Spread fear and keep your hands clean...

If obama is running on judgment, why shouldn't his affliation with this church, be brought into question?? I don't think that obama agrees with any of it, even though that can't be "verified", but i can question his decision to remain a member of this church, as well as a friend of this racist and anti-american pastor. You want to nail mccain and his affliations and endorsements, so you have to do the same to obama. But mccain didn't sit in a pew for 20 years and listen to the hate speech obama did, nor did mccain annoint a racist as his spiritual advisor. Has mccain thrown any relatives nder a bus, or referred to anyone as a "typical black person"?

Obama is shooting back in that other article I posted about Clinton and her trip to Bosnia. All of this Religion needs to be left out of Politics IMO. Bush ran his campaign on he was a Christian etc. then mocked them once he got into office. Now all this BS regarding Obamas Preacher and you have McCains endorsements from Preachers who are nut jobs too.

I don't see it as much about religion, as much as judgment and affliations. yes there were the bogus emails and pictures claiming obama is a muslim, which he denies repeatedly. Why doesn't that piss off muslims that he disavows that faith so passionately?
