What does that tell you about the Democratic party and their vision?
We have dumb asses like the Clintons that prefer to ruin their own party than to call it quits when there is no way for them to win..

Is the glass half full or half empty?

The funny thing is, the Republican's have fucked this country up so bad, Congress and Bush, that we might actually have an African American or a woman as president. Something I never thought I'd see in my lifetime. What does that tell you about how the Republican's are perceived in the country right now?

No way for obama to win either, since the winner must get to 2025.

Remember though, a dem controlled congress, who could have ended the war and has been sitting on their hands for nearly 2 years now, has a lower approval rating then the president. And I think that a woman and black man running has more to do with no vp running for president, the clintons sense of entitlement, and the organization on the ground and soaring speeches of obama.

There is NOT much Congress can do about the war at the moment. As the title of this post says, it's Bush's war. It's a really messed up dilemma. They cannot go there and try to use diplomacy because they are a group.B ush is still in control of this war. The only hope is for the incoming president, to have a plan and put it into action. It will take diplomacy and a very detailed plan of action to get even mediocre results....That's just a fact. You can't blame the current Congress for what's happening there now.

How many funding bills did they pass? They could have not funded like promised and ended the war.plain and simple.

Absolutely the Prez has done a poor job, but to absolve the Democrats for where this country sits currently would be just wrong. They deserve some of the blame and there is enough to go around!
It takes 2/3rds of a Vote to do anything. And they have control of the Senate and Congress, but don't have 2/3rds control.

Also, Congress and the Clinton Admin before had the same bad intel reports. Congress voted for this war as well, lets not just bash Bush. Who will you guys have to kick around when he is gone?
Doesn't matter how many violations anyone had against Saddam as you're missing the point. The whole reason for going into Iraq was because there was suposed to be weapons of mass destruction and saddam helping Bin Laden. Which both were untrue.

And Congress didn't go into war before with Clinton with saddam as he wasn't violating anything.

It just goes to show that the Governor needed a reason to go after Saddam who tried to kill his daddy.
