I talked to Chad last night--for those of you that know Chad outside of BC you would perhaps understand what he is writing. This is Chad's personality-love it hate it whatever---Chad and I are friends and when I called him last night I said what the fuck are you nuts....5000 fucking dollars. Chad and I have had these convesations before about betting to much money. I don't believe Chad meant any harm in what he said--like he said he is just venting.I don't condone or like to see that kind of venting but to each his own. I know this because of last night conversation and previous(that he meant no harm). We all need to learn from our mistakes and hopefully my friend Chad will learn from this. I have learned the ramifications of gambling to much cash and I do take breaks to clear my head. Chad will do the same when he is ready. I have told Chad bet smaller amounts and don't put all your eggs in one basket because this shit tends to hanappen. Hopefully Chad will take a small break clear his head and move forward... Chad is an adult and will figure it out....I am not defending Chad but I like Chad and he knows he fucked up. He told me he bet that amount and from the tone in his voice last night I believe him.

There is a thriving for attention on his part and this is a classic example. Chalk it up to immaturity or just him being 22. But if you haven't seen the posts...you can see that not many are not buying it and when called on it....there wasn't much of a defense.

Being his friend, the biggest piece of advice that you should give him is the importance of credibility. Without it...especially here, he's in for a long struggle. Just look at Chuck for a perfect example. The last thing that I for one want to see is for someone to mention both of them in the same sentence.

I think wanting to shoot people over a loss brought more attention to this thread than anything else. Why do people have to believe the wager is true? Have you seen Chado's posts and threads at times?? Others have had similiar threads like RJ, Chuck, baseballnut, east coast and ty gaston. How did those work out?

P.S. You don't tell people who are conversing to fuck off because you disagree. Chad's attitude played a role in all the attention. If you can't stand the response, why post the thread.
