There is only one candidate that (Has the balls) is out for impeaching both theses fucks and that is Dennis Kucinich. I hope one day America stands up against our elected officials who do wrong instead of just taking it from them thinking there is nothing we can do. Bottom line is most of the American people don't care when it comes to our Goverment.

Bush most recently addressed the issue in July after commuting Libby's 30-month prison term. He acknowledged that some in the White House were involved in the leak. Then, after repeatedly declining to discuss the ongoing investigation, he said the case was closed and it was time to move on.

Where did he write that Bush can do no wrong? I don't think anyone would ever say that. He just wrote of t he interesting timing and money connection. Why is it that people don't seem to stay on topic, especially when discussing politics. It amazes me the outright hatred for our President. Polarizing I can see, legitimate disagreements with philosophically, yes. But the disrespect and hatred is crazy. And that's all that most Democrats, especially Hillary Clinton, seem to want to point out.

It amazes me as well. When Bush's name comes up, so does the future presidential candidates. Why can't we just focus on the current president and maybe shoot to impeach this a-hole before the dollar is worth less than the peso, and we have a bunch of 18 year old veterans with missing limbs.

I mean, I see where candidates are certainly going to compare what they would do to what Bush has or hasn't done. Fair argument of course for both sides.
But Bettorschat was trying to put words in someone's post that just weren't there, and that's what most annoying about people on both sides. Stick to the point, stop the mudslinging, say what you are going to do and how you are going to do it, and that should be that. But it never is.
I do have to ask though BW. What do you think the President can or should do about the declining dollar?

Kind of what I wrote. I mean there is this visceral hatred for our President, and everything seems to have to revert back to this. And it's not a "right-wing conspiracy" that is doing it. It is attempting to connect anything bad with our President. I understand the startgey of both sides, but in the grand scheme of things, isn't it really more devisive and destructive?

It's a good question and I don't have all the answers. Obviously it's gonna take more than just a handful of things. I hate to be negative, but this shit pisses me off, Repubs don't want new taxes, and I don't fuckin blame 'em, I don't want new taxes either, because the gov't spends them on crap. Taxes are suppose to work, and they would if these a-holes weren't so irresponsible. This "war" is retarded, the longer we stay in, the more money we print, and we're just screwing ourselves and our futures. We're just gonna screw over a bunch of new veterans, and it's a vicious cycle. More fucked up families, which leads to fucked kids. Like I said, I don't wanna be negative, but fuck an a.

THE ORIGINAL POST THAT I MADE HAD TO DO WITH THE PRESIDENT GIVING UP THE NAME OF AN UNDERCOVER CIA AGENT AND BEING INVOLVED IN IT. I BELIEVE IF YOU WERE IN THE MILITARY THIS WOULD BE CONSIDERED TREASON. MAYBE IM FUCKED UP OR SOMETHING SO PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHY THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO WILL DEFEND THIS GUY NO MATTER WHAT HE DOES.

IF HE WAS TAKING A CRAP ON JORDAN RULES LAWN (I MEAN JORDANS MOM LAWN) HE AND OTHERS WOULD SAY IT WASNT HIM OR ITS NOT HIS FAULT.

                        AMAZING.

AND TO ADDRESS THE TIMING FOR A BOOK JUST ANOTHER EXCUSE THAT HIS APOLOGIST WILL USE TO TRY TO COVER HIS ASS AS USUAL.

I think it's completely justified. The President is doing a terrible job and people are pissed, there is no positives to spin out of this. If the CEO of your company was driving your business into the ground, would you look on the bright side, and hope he turns it around, or would you be making a change?

No one wants new taxes or irresponsible spending. I just don't think the President has any direct role or power with respect to the value of the dollar.
And what's interesting, and not too widely reported, is the pork barrel spending attached to every piece of legislation. The Democrats ran on that platform and have done nothing but the "same ole same ole" when they came into power. If Republicans really wanted to make an issue out of it, and be the "fiscally responsible" party, they should lead by example and not attach anything to the bills and point of the Democratic hypocrisy.
Inefficient spending is insane, which is why the President has no credibilty when preaching fiscal responsibility in vetoing the SCHIP bill. I don't know all of the particulars in the legislation to agree or disagree with the veto, but I will say it's hypocritical to say one thing and do another, and that applies to both sides!

I am not saying the criticsm isn't justified, just that at some point enough is enough. Everyone is going to be running on the "I'm not President Bush" platform, but I would prefer that any candidate would point out how they would do things differently. Sell the plan, sell the differences, and tell me how you will execute. But to keep beating the same "Bush is bad" drum isn't productive for the future. That is "piling on"!!
