Thanks. I love this site and have been lurking for a while. Lots of great info on here from people who seem to know what they are doing and put lots of research into their posts/plays.

I will admit, I am a huge Pats fan (season ticket holder). Colts played great yesterday, and cant take that away from them. I had a feeling the Pats were in trouble going in to the game with the way they have been playing D.

For the record, I passed on a side yesterday, and played the over pretty big, so it wasnt a complete loss yesterday.

Brady is still great because his defense is lousy.

But Manning is a choke because he's had a lousy defense for years.

Brady with his great defense from the past few seasons never started 8-0.

Manning is a choke because he throws too many INTs in huge playoff games. Oh and he constently gets 300+ yrds per game in the regular season and then in the post season he puts up 100. it has nothing to do with Defenses.

I remember reading that they played the hardest schedule through this point in the season, and that came from the Elias Sports Bureau.

However, we all know that stats etc. can be read many ways, so who knows :confused:

I simply cant understand why you guys insist Manning is so much better than everyone. The guy is a GREAT regular season player, come palyoff time he is a NO SHOW. Why would you take him over the likes of other proven QB's. Get off his Dick! He is 8-0 Big Deal. Talk to me in January when someone else is holding the super bowl trophy.

So what your saying there is that the SOLE reason the Colts have not made it past the Pats is because of Peyton Manning and Payton Manning only. It had nothing to do with the Pats offense, or their defense, or the Colts defense. ...it is on Manning or nothing.

Manning choked? Playing in NE on January in adverse conditions is not choking. While Indy's offense was unstoppable. Their defense couldn't stop anyone.

Under your stipulations where would you rank Marino? Statiscally, Marino was the NFL's greatest QB. Unfortunately, he never played with a good running game or a good D. Miami still won because of Marino. He went to the Superbowl once. In that superbowl he looked very ordinary.

those 4 or 5 picks he threw in that game had nothing to do adverse conditions. he was just awful that day!

NO NO NO i'm saying that manning has been a ZERO in big games. And that is a FACT. Did his D let him down yes. But you cant blame just the D. And if thats your arguement then why arent you proping the colts D for last nights victory and not Manning???
