cause thats my team in the NFL, them and the pats. obviously if i'm rooting for colts in the SB they wont be playing NE. so its dallas. Toughest part of my xmas gift will be dallas making the SB. I mean colts should make it. And as long as manning is under center you know the INT's will show up in the biggest game of his life. Only concern i have is can dallas represent the NFC?

As for Manning give me a break. The guy is a total freak. AWESOME. Last January in those HORRIBLE conditions in New England he actually HAD a good game WITH ZERO HELP. He threw for almost 250 + yards with ELEVEN DROPPED BALLS. YES ELEVEN DROPPED BALLS!!! Check the stats. He played FAR WELL ENOUGH for his team to win. Its the rest of the Colts that have been soft. Not Manning. The guy is a growing legend. A Marino he will never be. But, who will. I mean with Marino, the Dolphins didnt audible or run. He would be in shot gun and told the team and the world, were passing every down, now stop me. And they still couldnt stop him. He used to put on clinics that gave people goose bumps. The way he made the 85 PHENOMENAL Bears defense look like paper was unreal.

But, most experts today FINALLY realize the ring in football isnt as an indicator as it once was since people like Dilfer and Brad Johnson have led teams to win rings. Dilfer and Johnson finally showed the world football is the ultimate team sport. Theres nothing a QB can do if he has no defense or running. In basketball a ring is EVERYTHING simply because the starting basketball player accounts for 20% of the team on offense AND DEFENSE. In basketball they play both offense and defense and ONLY five players, so that one player is a HUGE part of the outcome of the game. Just like USC, everyone almost every week keeps betting against them. "This is the week USC goes down" Or last few years people not believing in the Patriots. Enjoy the Colts ride and the USC championship. I'll bet my life majority of people really believe Texas will beat USC. And the majority will also believe Manning will choke when he faces New England in the playoffs. It was like Texas Oklahoma this year. Some people REALLY believed Oklahoma was going to beat them. I believe in in history, but its obvious when the past is the past. This is not the same Colts teams of the past nor the same Manning. As scary as it is, he is getting better every year

Manning choked? Playing in NE on January in adverse conditions is not choking. While Indy's offense was unstoppable. Their defense couldn't stop anyone.

Under your stipulations where would you rank Marino? Statiscally, Marino was the NFL's greatest QB. Unfortunately, he never played with a good running game or a good D. Miami still won because of Marino. He went to the Superbowl once. In that superbowl he looked very ordinary.
