Gentlemen, the reason they can't record more than the first 3 drivers or so that cross the line is because they can't count any higher. There are three men in the booth announcing the race and each one is responsible for remembering the name of the driver that crossed the line, or apparently appeared to cross the line first. That is if he is not busy replacing the dip from his mouth or retrieving another round of Milwaukee's BEAST from the chest.

It's not a sport, but does make for some great laughs when some of these actually try defending the shit you see in it. UNBEFUCKINGLIEVABLE!!!

They have rules. When there is a green white checkered finish, they make 1 attempt to end the race under green. They don't race back to the line anymore like they used to. So when the caution came out, the field was automatically frozen in place. They then go back and determine where every car is by this electronic scoring mechanism.
