morning all, i'm feeling a bit better i actually am in work. for now. sitting doesnt bother me so much. mainly its walking around that does. plus i was tired of laying on the coach all damn day. i was going stur crazy. thanks for all the well wishes and info you guys are the best

Bry, the couch may be "more comfortable," but it is not helping your back. A firm matress is the best, or the floor.
I had to give up my waterbed since my back injury.
That is absolutely correct. Firm surface is better. Take care of yourself, bry. Hopefully the physical therapist can help you with a regimen that will help you strengthen those back muscles after you get over this acute episode.
