I've been through the back thing too bry. Let me tell you, therapy was USELESS. They told me every back surgery is the same too ... 50/50 ... 50% it gets better & 50% it stays the same or gets worse. At that point, i ruled out surgery.

I agree ... I have gone through therapy at least 5 times in the last 20 years .. never did a thing for me .... Told me I needed surgery .. 50/50 chance of helping ... I did the same ... surgery is out of the question unless I am bed-ridden for a long time ...

I broke my right foot. I mentioned it in my thread yesterday. No driving or work for 6 weeks and VERY limited walking.

I just rebroke my thumb at therapy. In therapy, can you believe that. The therapist had me squeeze putty with my thumb last week and the ligaments retore and my thumb dislocated again..It's been 7 weeks now and I have to have another surgery again.....It sucks to not be able to do much.
You seem to be like me, as I hate not being active, (bowling, golfing, working in general).....
I hope you and Dimmer gets better.....I hate taking Vicodin, makes me sleep and sickens my stomach.
