Originally posted by wayne1218kb, in Maine, Seafood Restaurants are on every corner like Mcdonalds. The lobster, scallops and haddock is pulled out of the ocean in the morning and delivered for the menu that night. People from Mass. even come to Maine for Lobster. I don't know why it is so different from here but people all over the country call for it. A seafood platter in Maine is unmatched (imo). The shit melts in your mouth and when we went down south, we couldn't find any of that.

Hey Bry, i was just thinking. You could also go to Kennebunk-Port and drive by George Sr's summer home. It isn't far away from there. Maybe George will be in town with the secret service.I've seen him in the drugstore there a couple of times. You could get his autograph! LMAO

Hey, question for you Chicago guys. I'm going to a game at Wrigley on June 1 with my brother and my Dad. Anyone got any ideas on where to stay for 2 nights (May 31 and June 1)? We'll probably rent a car and I'm having trouble finding a decent deal on a room close to Wrigley for those nights. Found a 3-star hotel that was 189 for the Thursday night but $549 for the Friday night!! must be something else going on in Chicago that night. Where are some good alternate areas to look for a decent place to stay at under $300 per night?

garth ... Wrigleyville is ridiculous with their prices ... I would look for something further out ..around O"hare Field and drive in ... $549 for a night stay ... ludicrous ...

My wife and I were bumming around for a few days in New England a couple of years ago. We were in some Massachusetts burg over close to Cape Cod on a Friday night. We passed this little hole-in-the-wall place that had a full parking lot. We went in and got an awesome seafood dinner...lobster for $8 or some shit like that. We just got lucky that time. But local knowledge is very important.
