Yeah, they use a different method though thus resulting in better results. My dad just had to have a fusion in his neck. My mom checked with the UAMS medical school down here regarding the place in Florida that I gave you the link to and they said they had a Dr. that learned how to do those procedures, but not enough patients asked for that type and the cost of the equipment was too expensive.Originally posted by Lsufan

However, fusions in the neck tend to have higher success rates than in the lower back. Of course my dad has a bulging disk in the lower back as well.
