                        Krunch

This was a nickname given to me when I was in my early 20's! I entered a softball hitting homerun derby and won it when I hit 6 out of 10 swings over a 300 foot fence. This was slowpitch softball. There was this guy on my team that had played linebacker for a college called Bucknell University which is located in Lewisburg Pa. This guy was 6'2" and weighed about 210 lbs and went on to try out for the Buffalo Bills. To make a lone story short, he hit a homerun that landed on a roof of the house that was located behind leftfield, approximately 350 feet away. When he got done hitting, I said is that all the further you can hit the ball you big sissy. Was just kidding him, but some people sitting in the stands overheard me say that to him and started laughing. Well low and behold I proceeded to hit my 2nd homerun over the house and everyone was saying when he hit that ball it was like all you heard was this big krunch and the ball looked like a pea. So this is how I got the nickname Krunch for my tape measure homerun in the homerun derby! Good stuff here guys, I've enjoyed reading each and everyones thread so far!

                            Lucky Leo

Well you guys probably never would think this from some of my picks here but alot of my buddies like to bet my picks and usually do well. Hence they don't call me Leo anymore its usually Lucky. So I had to throw in my real name Lucky Leo. Anyone that has played holdem with me knows it fits in that game.

This is great. I love reading everyones and often wondered what some meant now I know. Thanks.

                              Name: Tigger

I was given this name for a number of reason; most of which were things of when I was young:

Was told that I would only Winnie the Pooh on tv for Tigger, and hated most other cartoons.

My mother gave me a lil stuff tigger when I was only 3 days old, that I still have to this day (Damn, that thing is old). My collection has grown like wildfire!

I am 5'7 and can jump 10'5, so my g'f explains it to others by saying "he's bouncey".

There are other reasons for the name but those are the main ones. Like others I enjoyed reading about some of the other guys here, and how their names came about.
