Not a huge story with this one...When I finally decided to stop lurking at the first forum I was at for over a year, I was a newbie...or a rookie...well there was already a rookie on there and I wanted to somehow sound somewhat tough and macho...so TheRook stuck.
Cool thread guys
You are one tough dude, no doubt about it buddy ...
When i was in college my roommate worked at a local country club and there was an old man that worked there in the pro shop for years. we used to give him a ride home and stuff. He also bet Football with me when i booked in college. He always called me big daddy and anytime I am doing something associated with betting I alwys think of him. My real name is Steve
Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweaty stuff!
When I was playing college football, everyone called me Big Turm like in Friday and Big Worm. I decided to use my initials with Turm instead. I often write Big Turm in my posts though because I'm use to it the most.
It's f**kin' cold and there's lots of snow--this sucks!
My folks on one side of my family has a last name of Spearing. My Uncle died of cancer and his wife- my aunt gave me a nice 23' sailboat which I named Spearit in his honor. Also as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine- Acupuncture, Neuro-Muscular specialist. I have worked on the likes of many great world-class athletes in two Olympics as well as NFL and MLB players. My first was Emmitt Smith and Carl Everett (Fastest 100m) both at the Univ. of Florida and the list grew. The list goes on with Andy and Alan Benes from the Cards, actor and athlete Dolph Lungren, Jamie Sele (awarded gold in figure skating after French judge was DQ), and so on.
Each person I would work on- I would take them completely out of pain- I would also help them see themselves without the present obstacle or injury and get them back on the field of play as soon as possible- rejuvenated in mind and body and yes spearit. I have always sought out ways to win- for me as well as others. Ps-I have the name of one of the top 6 QBs of all time and even met him at the Super Bowl doing a show.
Just got up and around. Falling off the wagon takes a lot out of you. Just saw this tread and thought I'd let everyone know the meaning of my name.
First my Great Grandfather was full blood Creek Indian and founded the town I grew up in. I stayed with my Grandmother every Friday night (a great lady) and we set an talked about the days when she was young and Oklahoma was a wild west place. Some very great stories to long to tell here. Some of the things I was taught was a little Creek Indian. This was my favorite>
