Agreed , a great idea to share certain things about ourselves . But certain things by individuals that spend alot of time on the net , cant be exposed because certain individuals would use it against them .

Recently I supplied a e-mail to someone and low-&-behold I got some very nasty , disturbing e-mails (and I still think I know who it WAS ? ) , so in retrospect one has to be discrete about such things .

I would be happy to lay my life out to the members I feel safe with , but its the net not my back-yard !

Love where this has gone because men as a general-rule dont express themselves to much and I for one will bump it from time-to-time ....... just to keep it alive !

        Great Idea Bubba !

          Python>

i deal in reptiles ( breeding, exhibiting, sales) and made alot of friends in the process. many would not remember my name so they called me snakeman or Python ( after an 18ft. burmese i owned.
started using "Thrillseeker" because of some bad cookies or something" and had to change my NIC. Thrillseeker because there is one of two things that will happen when you handle an 18 ft. snake!! you either become fearless or your Nutz become the size of peas. lol again changed to Luv2Play2 because of some bad cookies so i sold my stock in Keebler, haha and now have no problems keeping this Nic. Luv2 because ,well you all should be able to figure that one out. GL all

I was boxer/kickboxer/NHB fighter for 10 years. One time after I KO'd some guy, I was walking back to the dressing room and I heard some guy say "that guy's for real, yo!"

The pirate avator i use 'cause i like, AAARRRGGG pirate stuff , matter of fact , i think i was a pirate in a previous life . Now , i'm just a rum drinking , gamgling , whore monger like my Dad...

                GoldVike

A really interesting combination that would seem obvious as I am originally born an raised in Minnesota.......I played hoops in both HS and Coll and people used to say when my shot went up it was Good as Gold as I was a long range shooting 6'3" guard and being a ways back in time there were no 3 point lines then and I would have LOVED to play for the "GOLDEN" Gophers but was never in that class of athelete.....I loved and and still do the Vikings as I actually heard the first game they ever played when Tarkenton came off the bench as a rookie out of Geogia to beat the defending world champs in their first game.....

I then had a friend who needed to find a home for a small Border Collie/Shelty dog who had a horrendous life as owned by a man that died of cancer and had been left for days.....after he reluctantly took him in....{because he had him on his farm with two Dobermans and rarely got his chance at the food dish}.......Anyway.....once I took him in, got him all groomed and fixed up at the Vet.....I named him Vike, gave him the run of the house...and that dog NEVER left my side for 2 years..I even have a picture of him with the cloth horned Viking Helmet and Gold Braids on his head.... he unfortunately died of Luekemia in just two short years I had him.....it tore me up......but when people saw me coming.. this tall Norsky with with tiny Shelty we became know as GoldVike and I kept the name for stuff like this in his honor!

Later the name has just morphed into people asking for picks on games.....people I know now just say "ask Gold who he's on"....not that I have ever been any more right than anyone else but I will do some homework!

Somewhat obvious.....but a long and lengthy explanation!

                Great Thread! GoldVike
I am NOT schizophrenic......and NEITHER am I! Just paranoid that fear may overcome my insanity!

                      Earlshoes

About 10 years ago there was a Sega Game called ToeJam and Earl that me and my drunken friends always played.Earl was this fat little alien on the game and at that time I fat myself so my buddies gave me the nickname of Earl.

Shoes comes from a drunken nite where I kept on trying to tie my shoes and was to fucked up to do it.So once again my buddies put the 2 names together and ever since I have been EARLSHOES.
                      ^^^^NICE KLUMP HA?^^^^

Way back in middle school,I was known pretty much as a prankster or jokester and really played alot of jokes or pranks on folks. One day one of my best friends gave me the nickname of tricky Nick. For over 25 years it has always been tricky Nick or tricky. Somehow as I got older it seemed to go to Trick for short. Whenever I answer the phone usually the first reply is "Trick". 4 is my lucky number being born 4-4. When I go to the racetrack if I need a number it will be 4. I love for my horse to have that number.

No mystery here--first initial and beginning of last name (err. . .my ex-husband's last name). Some of your stories are soooo colorful that it makes me feel guilty.

Good Thread--first I've seen of this type in several forums!

                              heres how I got mine

though kmann is similar to my real name*** (Karl Manning)***, it all started when I was pitching in a hi school game...In a 7 inning game, I struck out 20 of 21 batters, and there was a lot of K's on that score sheet...This was in Louisiana, I now live in(*** Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.***)..

thus the name Kman stuck....This was in 1959, before most of you were born....And yes, the other batter, one that didn't strike out, hit a HOT one hopper right back to me, threw to first, walked no one....Thus a perfect game in Hi-school baseball...

Everyone has memorable moments, this is mine....Aspired to be a Pro Baseball Player, made it to AA ball for 1 1/2 years, simply put, WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH....Now almost 62 years old, raised 6 Sons, still remember that day as if it was yesterday....kmann

the only thing I strike out/at now is Flies when I'm BBQ'ing..
