Morning boys... took a few days off and went to San Diego with my wife. Played a couple of nice courses, the course at the Barona Casino and Resort in the hills up north of SD and the Coronado Golf Club on Coronado Island. Coronado GC is an outstanding public course! lush fairways, greens that roll true, palm trees, nice layout. and the green fee was 40-something! If you're ever looking for a nice casino resort to stay for a few days, I'd recommend Barona. Really nice hotel, outstanding service, excellent restaurants, good table games, nice golf course, etc. The only thing that was really weird...there was no alcohol on the casino floor! I ordered a double Ketel on the rocks at the blackjack table when the waitress came around and she looked at me like I was crazy. Isn't a casino without alcohol kind of an oxymoron?Comment
