-Tonight I gotta go with the Rockets at home to stop this slide they are on...And the Jayhawks provide them with a solid chance at doing that...The Jayhawks maybe 2-0, but that is against the likes of Northwestern State and UL Monroe, which they barely beat 21-19, in their last game...

Another negative about Kansas is that they have been poor on the road going just 3-17...and taking a young inexperienced defense that only returns 3 starter, to Toledo is not going to be easy...especially since they are facing a Rockets offense that return 8 starters, including 4 of their top WRs and 4 from their "Big Uglies" unit from last season....

Kansas will run it tonight to try and control the game...but they are to one dimensional right now, and Toledo will gear up to stop their only consistant weapon at this point in RB Cornish...Toledo on defense return 7 starters back, including their entire "Big Dawgs" unit and that should help with containing him...

Bottom line in this one is both teams need to replace their QBs from last season, but Toledo has a lot more studs to help make that transition a lot more smoother than the Jayhawks offense that was ranked 88th last season in total offense...The Rockets are at home and playing infront of a national audience...and they have a Big Sense of Urgency to get into the win column tonight...I like it when your ass is near the fire....GO ROCKETS!

SATURDAY'S PLAYS (9-16):

**Special-TOP RATED PLAY OF THE DAY ON: (4 Units)



Miami Ohio -13


-The RedHawks is coming into this one off of 2 tough games vs 2 Big Ten opponents...In the first game, they faced a Northwestern team playing in an emotional situation for their coach, who passed away....The second was against a solid Purdue team, on the road, which they should of, could of, and would of won, but didnt win...due to a FG attempt getting blocked with just 17 secs left to play...

In their OT loss though, the RedHawks did produce some positives that they can build from...One of them coming from new QB Kokal, who showed that he was able to pick-up where the departed Betts left off...as he shredded Purdue's secondary for 355 yards and 4 TDs...The RedHawks offense also can take pride in the fact that they were also able to outgained this solid Purdue offense, 483 to 391 overall...And, on the other side of the ball, their defense which only returned 2 starters from last seasons unit did a fantastic job with a strong performance against the run...

In today's game, they will be facing their 1st conference opponent so there is no time or room to play around and risk going 0-3...Miami Ohio, just like the Rockets last night, will also be playing with a big sense of urgency....And, like I stated yesterday, I like it when a team who is expected to win has their asses near the Fire...Today this Kent squad, who also enters this game at 0-2 on the year, doesnt tell me anything but the fact that they are still a shitty ass team, eventhough they have 19 returning starters...Last week, their lost in OT to a very poor Army team...just goes to show again, that being a year older doesnt always equate to being any better...it just makes you a year older.

The strength of this RedHawks offense was to come from their running attack with Murphy and Murray (both combined for 1,336 yards, 5.0 ypr, and 13 TDs last season) ...But, they have yet to show their dominance on the year...Today though, I feel the ground attack of the RedHawks will finally have a big day vs this pourous Kent defense, which has given up a total of 493 rushing yards, approx 5 ypr, vs Minnesota and Army...All conference RB Murphy was sidelined the past game with an injury, but he is expected to return to action today which is definately not good news for the Golden Flashes defense...

More bad news for the Golden Flashes is the fact that their offense continues to struggle finding any consistancy or ability to score points...So far they have totaled just 14 points in their last two games...And, these problems are not anything new for them as last season, they were ranked last in the conf in total points, averaging just 16 ppg, as well as, last in the conference in total offense...So far this season Kent's QB Edelman remains to be their entire offense for them...but his numbers, especially passing (16-35 for 242, 1 TD, and 4 Ints in 2 games) is nothing to get excited about...

Side Note: In Kents last 5 games of the season last year, they only scored a total of just 40 points...They also was ranked last in the nation in rushing offense averaging just 46 ypg...

Side Note: Kent St defense last season allowed opponents to rush for 4.2 ypr...while their offense avg'd just 1.8 ypr..

Side Note: Kent St is just 1-4 ATS away vs Miami Ohio....and has lost their last 11 games since last season..

Bottom line here is that Miami has no time to fool around...and with the return of RB Murphy, their offense will be potently way to balanced and explosive for Kent to contain....while their defense should come up with its best performance forcing Kents offense to turn it over several times, as they try desperately to keep pace...All REDHAWKS Today!

-Boise is awesome when it comes to playing on the Smurf Turf, but they have struggled many times to be as dominant when they are playing away from it...Todays game at Wyoming will be their first game on the road since last November, so chances of them being not as comfortable is possible...The Broncos need to run the ball to be effective...and today, they face a Cowboys defense that has only given up a total of just 87 rushing yards in their first two games, ranking 10th in the land...

I expect the Cowboys to put forth a solid effort as a home doggie today...and they could even pull an outright upset today..as QB Doss will find his targets through the air, attacking the Broncos weak spot..


Auburn -3 (buy .5pt)


Gotta go with the home team here as this is one strong Home series...In addition, even with the home team winning the last 6 between these two ...I cannot forget the fact that in last seasons game at LSU, Auburn's RB Irons rushed for 218 yards and 1 TD on that solid defense..and it was the disastrous performance by Auburn's kicker Vaughn that cost them the chance to win that game, both in regulation and in OT...

Speaking of Vaughn though, he is a senior this year, and he has seemed to have forgotten all about those missed kicks..going 11-for-14 in the other 11 games last season...and has currently made 6 of his last 7 FGs this year...Today, he has a chance to redeem himself and also do so in the comforts of Auburn's house as well...

Yes, LSU is a solid 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 road games....but Auburn is playing at Home, for Revenge, and the loss at LSU last season was only their first lost in their last 7 games against a Top 10 opponent...

-Donovan and the Eagles starting a new improved era under him...The offense this year looks to be finally balanced....and this is an important game to win, inorder to take a 2-0 game lead on their rivals the Giants...Opening day at Philly should help them get it done...And, I like the fact that Donovan had a solid warm up game before this one, throwing for 314 yards, 3 touchdowns, as well as connecting with 7 different receivers....McNabb didnt play in those two losses suffered to the Giants last season, but he is 4-0 SU and ATS in his last 4 games against New York, including 3 straight double-digit wins...McNabb continues on his mission!


NO -2

-Both of these teams have each added more than 20 new players to their roosters this year...However, it is a lot more obvious that NO is the team, whose additions and changes will result in improvements and a movement in the right direction...Reggie Bush and a new coaching staff have invigorated and excited their organizations....while the Packers, continue to let Farve delay the new personal and movement in that right direction....The Packers last year badly spanked the Saints at home, 52-3...and, they are also 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games vs New Orleans...However, that was when both Lambeau field and Brett Farve had a magical mystique about them...Now, they are just 4-12-2 ATS in their last 18 home games...Bottom line again, is that GB is still rebuilding...while the Saints, with their solid player additions, have been regrouping..


St Louis -3 .................................................. ..........actual/comp play

-One of the major reasons I am liking these Rams this year,...no more Koo-Koo Martz making those Koo-Koo calls anymore...He is a big reason why the 49ers won both of last year's battles as underdogs...And now that he has gone bye-bye, they show more balance on offense (125 yards rushing, 195 yards passing last week) and opportunistic on defense (5 takeaways last week)...The 49er's last week, allowed Kurt Warner to throw for 301 yards and 3 touchdowns...and this week their young secondary will be tested once again by the Rams' talented pass offense with Bulger, Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce...I take this crew without Martz leading them anyday.

-No Smith on offense is huge...The Panthers seem to not be able to function without him...But, thats no shocker..as he only led the league with 103 catches for 1,563 yards and 12 TDs last season...Last week, the Panthers were outgained 385-215, including 252-65 on the ground, and the offense committed 2 turnovers...Minnys QB Johnson threw for 223 yards and a score, while the Vikings' defense gave up just 266 total yards to the Redskins....The Vikings are also a solid 19-6 ATS in their last 25 games as a home dog, which is actually what they are..

Yesterday's in the NFL, I brought home the Big $$$ once again for all my clients on board the FB $$$ TRAIN!...Like I previously stated in this thread, my Handicapping methods I use during the early weeks of the season have been simply producing some solid results and also some Big $$$ Winners as well..

This season looks to be no different as my plays released in Week 1, 2, & now Week 3 have all ended in the Profit Zone...And, 8 out of the first 11 days in FB have also produced +Units days for all my clients to enjoy....

-Sticking with the Under here as just like I thought the Cavs freshman QB is struggling going 3 of 9 for 22 yards....in fact the whole offense is struggle as the running game has only gained 31 yards with 14 of that coming from Sewell...But that is not a surprise as they are ranked 112th in the nation in total offense...

Bottom line in this one...is the Cavs will probably go scoreless...and GT after extending their lead a little more...will stick to grounding and pounding it out...I will also expect the Yellow Jackets to start shifting their focus on to next weeks big game vs Virginia Tech...The Hokies handed GT their worst Ass spanking last season 51-7, so pretty sure with this one in hand already...minds will be a wondering ahead...
