Here's another opinion.

I think this site could be much better. If it wasn't for a few members such as Dimer, Bover and others this site would suck 95% of the time. Why do all the BASHING threads get the most posts and views. People are being entertained. What's wrong with asking members to post more than a simple "GL"? I can't see any valid reason.

If no capper received no GLs then no one can get pissed. Another reason to eliminate the standard GL. It'll eliminate the crying out for attention threads.

If I can be honest, there are some good cappers on that site and I do go there to follow a couple of guys.

But I do find much of the clientele on that site to be of the lower-than-degenerate variety. I would say the exact opposite of this site, which I why I post here and not at the other one.

I find many of the guys on the other site to be of questionable character, at best.

I agree with Frank, people should be allowed to voice an opinion and more than gl. I think people are afraid to voice an opinion for fear of being banned.

Chuck begs for this attetion. He calls out three guys in this thread, calls them names and makes backhanded remarks and yet he's posting and two are not. He did the work he wanted, got them banned for questioning his plays. He really started all the name calling...I'm just not high on the ban button, sorry.

This thread has made an interesting read to say the least. It is entertaining, and that's part of the job of the fourth estate. People need to vent sometimes, it's cathartic and you shouldn't feel you're going to get banned for doing it. Of course, sometimes it gets out of hand. The conversation between Wayne, LSU and Rook was interesting. Why does that piece of shit rag, The National Inquierer stay in business? Millions of readers.Maybe there is a need for a all out vent forum on here......JMO

Winner, I did mention a poll like you said to Monte a while back about this subject .. at that time he said go ahead with the poll ... I guess I got the wrong impression that Monte was going to say ok with it if the poll said they liked it and I wanted it ... so I guess I am the wrong one here and I am sorry if I gave you or anyone else the wrong idea ... I was surprised when he came back today and said "nope" .. I still say it would be a good idea to allow guys to battle it out off the main forum ..

Thanks Spark. I didn't see this yesterday. I wonder why he would say ok to a poll and still say "nope" if the poll reflected otherwise? And yes Wayne, before you comment, I understand it's Monte's site, I understand he doesn't charge, and I understand what he says goes. I am NOT disputing any of those FACTS. I was just wondering why a poll would be okay and possibly the results not. Really then no reason for a poll then.
