Most of the people I wish GL to I have no reason to dipute their selection. ie Frank, Wayne, Spark, Kapt, etc.... As their capping ability is well above mine. However, maybe if I were to discuss rather than dispute thier selection I would learn more of what there is to capping.

This guy has it right, for a young guy he knows a lot. JMO

My baseball thread is a perfect example. Fourteen replies. All "GL". No substance. No dialogue. It makes for an extremely boring forum. Question a pick. Challenge a pick. Tell me why you like my pick.

What comes first? The chicken or the egg?

They can't get pissed if they aren't expected or against the rules. Some cappers get pissed because they get little attention. If no capper received no GLs then no one can get pissed. Another reason to eliminate the standard GL. It'll eliminate the crying out for attention threads.

It doesn't suck and you know that's not what I mean. Maybe, we wouldn't have so much BS drama if we changed things around. It certainly wouldn't hurt to try.

Chuck is a perfect example. All the drama is about attention. A few months ago he created a thread that he was no longer posting because he wasn't getting any attention in his thread. If the GL weren't expected than one can't get pissed about lack of attention.

Oh BTW at this moment this forum has 70 currently active users online. 40 members and 30 guests. The other forum that is ofter refered to currently has 1077. Why? What do they do any different there that attracts 15x the members?

Let's see they spend money on advertising in magazines for years. The had a strong relationship with BOS through a paid employee of that site that got them advertising in magazines in every BOS ad that goes out in the hands of hundreds of thousands of people.
