The point I was trying to make. If the pass is incomplete and assuming there's still time on the clock their only option at that point if a hail mary pass.

Givin a billion dollar industry there's too much to risk to except a few $1000 on a game. Do you really think Pete Carroll can be bought off? I don't.

If all these games are fixed that everyone screams about. Don't you think some one, some where would have come forward with the story? I do.

its not about pete carroll its about the players or the refs. These guys are making ZERO or 50 k a year. It doesnt take alot to get a guy to sway one way or the other.

i agree i dont think last nights game was fixed. But to say that certain games arent influenced(fixed) is simply mornic.

I cant disagree! But I cant begin to think that a game with that level of importance couldnt begin to be fixed by anyone involved.
and that is when it seems like all of the "fixing" debates arise. Talk to me about a Thursday night Big Sky game when a team misses 8 of 10 Ft's in the last minute to not cover a #, that has moved seceral points from where it opened. Then I am more inclined to listen

First, this article proves my point. The players were questioned and suspended immediately after the game. If games are fixed people would find hear about it. Especially with the number of games BC members claim that are fixed.

Second,

Thirteen players were eventually suspended by the school, the most players ever implicated in a gambling scandal. After a nine month investigation by Middlesex County District Attorney Tom Reilly, six men were indicted last week in connection with the gambling ring -- none of them current BC athletes.

It's interesting that no athletes weren't indicted. Why? Maybe their involvement wasn't as great as originally thought.

That's certainly a possibility but without knowing everything about the DA, it's impossible to prove the reason charges weren't brought. You can assume you know to prove your point, but charges/indictments are dropped everyday, everywhere for whatever reasons. Politics, unexplained anonymous contributions, etc...

Bryan, it is extremely possible games have been and could be fixed. By your own admission last night's game was NOT fixed. Ez used some very lame reasons. One has to be a complete moron to believe last night's game was fixed based on his beliefs.

jhedrick, brought up a great point about Leinart. Is Leinart really going to wait until the last play to throw the game?

The point I'm trying to make and I think you have to agree. Sports are not fixed as often as the BC members YELL "FIX". Anytime some members have a bad loss they are screaming FIX.
