As I asked before. Name one FIXED college football game.

I've said many times. Sports are played, coached and refereed by humans. Humans make mistakes. Leinart is a 21 year old kid. When his primary receiver was covered you don't think it's possible that he panicked? 99% of us would shit playing in a game like that. Let alone having one play to win with 10s of millions of people watching.

That's assuming the pass is complete.

      • wait is the agruement that college football is fixed or sports in general??? Cause sports in general. Are in certain times 100% fixed. IE pete rose in MLB. ASU hoops scandal, Chris webber and the michigan players taking over 100k from a bigtime bookie to shave points. Jockey's in horse racing getting paid to not win races.

I never disputed there's been cases of games or horse racing being fixed.

Pete Rose didn't fix baseball. He bet on baseball. He also bet on his team. He never bet against his team.

However, there's never been a documented case of any college or NFL football game or NBA game being fixed.

I do believe NASCAR racing is fixed.

Given a billion dollar business in a corrupt world, anyone who does not believe games are fixed still believes in Santa and the Tooth Fairy...Frank - what does a missing tooth bring these days?

my question is who is in on the fix???? is it a secret society? la cosa nostra? the mob can't even keep it's people quite and there are too many variables to fix a football game.....TV replay , 22 players.....not like hoops where you can miss free throws or shots......I just think in this "get rich" society someone who knew about it would blow the whistle and get a book deal and made for tv movie.....I just think football is a game with funny bounces and vegas is sharp.....If we did not bet on the games these thoughts would not even be entering our minds

                    • well, they needed about a 20-30 yard pass for a first down to get into field goal range. It takes time to get down the field. I think you would have a better argument saying the Michigan game was fixed. Absolute no calls that were obvious, not reviewing plays, etc... Last nights game was probably the best college football game I have ever watched. Not once did I think the refs were screwing one team or the other. However, I did see about 5-7 times holding could have been called against USC.

Of course the clock doesn't run on an imcomplete pass.

The point I was trying to make. If the pass is incomplete and assuming there's still time on the clock their only option at that point is a hail mary pass.

Again, I am not saying this game WAS fixed...I am saying there are games that ARE fixed and I saw enough fishy happenings in this one to raise the question...

Like many others I'm fully aware that college hoops have been fixed. More than once.

Show me one documented case where college football was fixed.
