look that kickoff had nothing to do with the fixed arguement what so ever. Now if you want to scream about the NO review on the FORWARD lateral/knee down by V. Young okay. Oh and the clear catch and fumble by Texas WR. Ok i'll listen.
IMO Most games in both college and NFL are very poorly officiated.
I often wonder what they see and/or don't see. At times you can see the ref looking directly at the play.
frank i agree. My favorite thing ever is when a ref is right on top of a play and clearly sees the play and makes a call then out of no where another ref comes running from 30yrds away across the field and over rules 1st refs decision. happens all the time in every game. its hilarious
Are you kidding me????? Because of a 2nd half kickoff you are screaming FIX.
The game is played, coached and refereed by humans. Humans make mistakes. Humans make bad decisions. No game is played flawlessly.
No...not because of that...but maybe because of this:
First of all it is well documented some games have been fixed...so once you know some games are fixed, how can you think that it isn't possible to fix ANY game? Now before you answer this, think about the game you just saw...specifically, let me help you out:
1. Not only was Vince Young down; the lateral he threw was actually forward - yet no review
2. The fumble in the second half that was reviewed and NOT reversed
3. On 4th down and 2 for USC, Pete Carroll has Reggie Bush on the bench! Are you kidding me!
4. After the Texas TD, Pete Carroll burns his last timeout!!! And what was his explanation after the game? "We were surprised they were going for two there! HAHA...down one and surprised they were going for 2???
5. Finally, USC has 8 seconds left and is one play and a first down away from a legitimate fg attempt...so what does ex-heisman trophy winner Matt Leinart, who has been poised and unflappable for the last two years do? He runs around to kill the clock and then throws the ball out of bounds so he can't even complete the pass...
Dude, wake up...fixed or not this was one fishy game!

How about last night on USC LenDale White's 4th down rush late in the game?
The ref closest to the camera had the ball marked about 1/2 yard shorter. His mark was more accurate. From the camera view we can see the ball. The ref on the other side of the field, who's view was clearly blocked, move the ball up closer to the first down marker.

Well documented WHERE? Has there ever been a documented case of any football game being fixed? NFL or College?
There's never been a documented case of a NBA game being fixed.
Aside from almost 90 years ago there's never been a documented case of a baseball game being fixed.
In the tens of thousands of college basketball games through the years there's been a FEW documented cases of fixes.
Threads are created on the forum many times screaming FIX. One would think the fix was on more often.
If the fix was on as often as it is screamed, someone would have blown the whistle.

You are an ass!
#1 I didn't watch the first half so I can't comment on the play.
#2 If you are refering to the catch and drop by the Texas receiver I thought it was the proper call. When I saw it live I thought it was imcomplete.
#3 If you really think Pete was in on the fix than you truely are clueless. White is the power back. It's a power back situation.
#4 Here's proof you don't know what you were talking about. First, Carroll didn't take the time out. The players on the field did. Do you know why? They had 12 players on the field. I have TIVO. I noticed immediately they had too many players on the field. I paused the game and counted 12 USC players.
#5 Watch the play again. Leinart was looking for a quick pass to his right. Based on his reaction the play was covered. He immediately checked off. Knowing the situation I'm sure he panicked. Most of us would panic.
Based on all your accusations everyone was in on the FIX. Pete, Leinart and the refs. EVERYONE! With tears in his eyes after the game I highly doubt Carroll threw the game.
It's obvious from this post you bet USC. SOUR GRAPES?
I didn't bet the game. I'm a fan of neither team. I could care less who won the game. I'm certain my opinion is more objective.
No bet Frank..if you want confirmation ask Blake - he will confirm it was a no-play for me...so there goes your "sour grapes" theory...was merely posting what I saw objectively
gotta agree with Frank here. White is there power back and was used in almost every situation like that last night, he is there short yardarge guy. Young's knee was down, don't think it was a forward pass, either way the ball would have been on about the 4 or 5 yard line. Should have been reviewed and overturned. The TX incomplete pass (fumble) was just that, when you watch it in slow motion you can see he never turns with the ball or takes a step or has full control. He is starting to bring it in and it gets knocked out, incomplete and right call IMO, especially if you watch it at full speed. At the end of the game Leinhart had 8 seconds left with 0 timeouts. He had two choices a quick pass to the outside or a shot to score a TD. I think he knew his time was up, he tried to make something happen by directing his receivers and it didn't work, end of story. There were some other missed calls for TX that you don't bring up, why not? There are screw ups, missed calls, no calls, etc.. in every game at every level. You could call holding on just about every NFL down. Do you wanna watch that? NO FIX!
I DO BELEIVE SOME GAMES ARE FIXED,but i highly doubt the BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP game would be there are way to many eyes on this game, this was a well heart pounding game that defitely live up to its hype for once it was not a blow out game,i did have money on the game had the over, but when u have classic games like this i get so involed in the game that i could careless about my bet it was just a bonus that i did win i was just having a great time watching it of course at a locaL bar were we did talk some young 22 yrs old college gals that were texas fans to show us there tits every time texas scored wich was another bonus,,,, bottom line this was a GREAT GAME PERIOD,yes there was some fucked up calls but doesnt ever game have those kinda of calls this was not a fixed game just be happy u got to watch one the best games ever
GETER DONE PEACEEEEEE

Wrong...any pass for first down and clock stops...this is a stupid argument...you won't convince me and I won't convince you...and I did not say the game WAS fixed...I merely said games HAVE been fixed in the past and there were some fishy things going on in this one...and regarding the 4th down play, you guys act like it is a penalty to have both Bush and White on the field at the same time!
VY...hands down...Bush has the luxury of another stud RB as well as a fellow Heisman winner at qb...not even a debate...in fact, watching tonite, is Bush actually even the best RB at USC?
