first hole duck hooked into left trees and had (250yards out) for his 2nd shot...hit it to the fairway 20 yards out and got up and down

2nd hold duck hooked his drive into the water, 3rd shot had to keep the ball under at bush (280 yards out) and don't know where it ended up but he had to get up and down from the fairway as well....

should easily be +2 or worse...and then the guy birdies 3....amazing

I'm with Wayne and KB on this. Tiger is a role model to kids, plain and simple. If you love the sport, then you want one of its ambassador's to uphold some intrinsic core values for the youth that idolize them. He also gets paid millions in endorsements and people are charged a lot of money to watch him perform. So he most definitely needs to be held accountable for his actions. You accept and enter the public foray when you become a professional athlete in any sport. Their private lives have and always will be scrutinized in the public's eye.

Kaz, Wayne and KB - First, I am not arguing that what Tiger did in his family life, in my opinion, was wrong and he should be held accountable for what he did.

Second, whether anone wants to believe it or not, when Tiger plays well, IT is good for golf, so indirectly, when HE plays good, it is good for golf. I'm not going to argue about how many more Majors he will win, because there are quite a few good golfers out there that are just as good as him and probably better. BUT, when he is playing well, it is good for the golf ratings and more people watch it than usual.

Third, again, I am not defending Tiger at what he did, because I think he was a douche for what happened. But, there are double standards to others who have done similar things in their career. I am not going to research to find others, but 2 POPULAR guys come to mind very quick. Of course, Petrino at Arkansas with what just happened. He was cheating on his wife and family, just like Tiger. And one that everyone seems to forget because it was "swept under the rug" - Brett Farve. He took pictures of his cock and text them to a female from the Jets. You know that was made to "go away". Do any of you honestly believe that that was all he did. I truly hope that none of you are that naive. $$$$ made that go away and anyone who doesn't believe that is very much naive.

To me, those 2 douches are just as much as a douche as Tiger.

And they all are "good" for their sport when the play/coach BUT all 3 are as guilty of being douches for what they have done to their family.
Its sad that those 3 are so popular and "good" for their sport, when there are other guys out there who are good people but they don't get the same "respect" in the sport that the 3 douches get.
